I started in the business over three decades ago, after my graduation in the Brussels Filmschool RITS. The start of my career was at The Royal Ballet of Flanders in Antwerp and later on at The Royal Ballet of London, shaping the lights on and around the dancers. In 1989 I started filming for the international News Agencies, ITN, BBC, ORF, TRT, and others. With that golden experience I went on to documentary and fiction, with the emphasis on 3D when the demand was high between the years 2009 and 2012. I love to be both creative and technical, and went to London, Brussels and Munich to learn from the best in Colorgrading and/or 3D (Kevin Shaw • Kommer Kleijn • Florian Mayer • Dado Valentic). From that moment I combine my work as a Dop with the magical and fascinating world of Color.
