Cem Fakir has started his career at Nokta news magazine in 1997. At the end of 1997, he was transferred to the first thematic news channel of Turkey, NTV, where he would spend the next 13 years of his career. Cem has worked at a various positions at NTV, including news production, news editing, and special broadcasts editing. Besides his executive services, Cem has produced in total 7 documentaries during his career at NTV. In September 2010, he has left Dogus Media Group and focused in his first personal documentary production. His first documentary “Şimal Yıldızı/Son Kore Gazileri”, a oral history of Korean War veterans, was aired in December 2010.
