Céline Barakat is a visual content creator and a filmmaker. she holds a BFA (with great honors) in film directing from ALBA (Lebanese academy of fine arts) and a great honors MA in film studies- research and production from Montreal university. Barakat is a visual artist who focuses more on filmmaking and photography. she had several photography exhibitions where she won first jury prize and her short movies were presented at different film festivals around the world.

« Le ça,le moi,le surmoi et les autres » is an autoportrait project that reveals some personal reflections and experiences. The project was shot in spaces I have lived in at different times of my life. And through it I explore notions of generality, intimacy, sexuality and architecture; architecture with regards to its one-on-one relationship with an individual.

Les femmes de Jésus
Every good friday, I go to church in order to observe how people get in touch with God and Jesus. This year, I had the chance to be in Lebanon where I visited couple of churches and focused on the relationship women have with God. “LES FEMMES DE JÉSUS” aka the women/disciples of Jesus is the journey these mourning women embarked on, on this holy day.
