He has won Best Sports and Society Documentary, Cote d'Azur Sports Film Festival,2017 NICE, FRANCE as a Director, 'One Foot Ahead' , He also won Best Documentary 2010 at the Kalasha Kenya Film Awards for directing ‘A History of Film in Kenya’. He is currently finalising a feature length creative documentary, ‘Odijo’ for which he received the DocuBox East Africa Documentary Film Fund in 2016.
This is a short documentary that we shot for Process Express International's famine relief CSR that included Goya Foods donation in the famine stricken Kilifi, in Kenya’s coast. Shot on a Canon 5D Mark II, with a Sennheiser boom and a Zoom H6 using a 2 pax crew, I co-produced, did camerawork and edited the video.
