Personal Profile Sanele Makhubu born in Jabulani Soweto 1983 December 21. Sanele completed a B-Tech Degree in Multimedia from the University of Johannesburg where he majored in film and TV production (2008). He then pursued a career in the TV industry, he gained experience by directing music videos where he worked as an all-rounder, (2009) Sanele joined a marketing agency, where he became an insert director. He changed direction and joined Big Fish School of Digital filmmaking through an incubator-ship programme sponsored by Multichoice (2010). Within a couple of months in the programme he directed a Mnet Vuka rising star award winning PSA Mantlwane, this was Sanele's first major directorial effort, it marked him a rising star, and he never looked back. Since 2010 till to date Sanele directs documentaries on an average of 1to 2 productions a year and his work has been travelling the globe honouring invitations to showcase at a number of film festivals.
