Request QuoteExperienced polyglot journalist with a track record of success leading large teams to achieve exceptional results. I am a multilingual Turkish war journalist and with 13 years of experience working for major international news networks, including Al Jazeera English, Vice News, TRT World and TRT Arabi. My experience covering the Middle East has given me a clear and deep understanding of current affairs and I have reported and produced from across the Middle East, Turkey, Europe and Asia. I have covered numerous conflicts and human stories for TV and digital in 15+ countries. I know how to engage a digital audience, and having worked for media platforms from different backgrounds, I know how to adapt my content and management style for national or international organisations. I am passionate about the Middle East. That’s why I am a fluent speaker of Turkish, Arabic and Farsi. (Other languages I speak are English, Spanish, Azerbaijani and German.) I re-launched the digital department at TRT Arabi where we were able to get the top spot among the Arab media. During my management, TRT Arabi’s social media accounts witnessed 1000% increase in number of interactions and followers in a very short period of time. I often adapt my war zone and digital skills to create fast and informative content in an ever-changing digital arena. I have established and managed digital platforms in four different languages. (English, Arabic, Farsi, Turkish) Strengths: *Content production *Broadcasting *Warzone reporting *Field production *International current affairs, particularly with a Middle Eastern focus Language skills: English/Turkish/Arabic/Farsi/Spanish/German/Azerbaijani

Nearly two months after powerful earthquakes struck Turkey and Syria, millions of displaced people are still in dire need of proper housing. The Turkish government has already started some major reconstruction projects. But safety concerns remain.
The earthquakes that struck Turkiye and Syria in early February have claimed more than 50-thousand lives. Nearly two months on, some families are still searching for their relatives. As many as 1,300 bodies have not been identified.
Hundreds of unidentified bodies from the February earthquakes in Turkey are buried in this cemetery, only identified by numbers. Families of those still missing face the agonising task of finding out if their loved ones are buried here.
