About

Deniz İstikbal completed his graduate degree in the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Istanbul University (2016). He completed his master degree in International Political Economy department of the Marmara University (2018), and accomplished his thesis about "The Political Economy Analysis of South Korea, and Turkey's Development Plan". His doctoral education continues with the PhD thesis of the Economic Policy Analysis of China's African Investments (2005-2018) at Istanbul University Institute of Social Sciences. Working as a research assistant in SETA Economy Directorate, Istikbal's academic interests include Economic Development, Political Economy, Energy Economics, Energy Security, Agricultural Economics, International Financial Institutions, Foreign Aid, Africa and Asia-Pacific.
