Siphelo Guwa is currently based in the city of his birth Cape Town. By fate spent some of his formative years in the Region of Peddie in the Eastern Cape. Growing up in a large family homestead in the Eastern Cape, has informed his passion today to tell stories that have potential to effect change in society. And open peoples’ hearts and minds to many of life’s possibilities. In 2011 he received a prestigious opportunity to study at the acclaimed award winning Big Fish School of Digital Filmmaking, after the film school opened its new offices in Cape Town. His filmmaking skills were honed and realized whilst working on a number of school projects at Big Fish School of Digital Filmmaking. These filmmaking projects include “City Hall Speak to me”, “Homeless” and “I am man”. After completing his training at Big Fish School of Digital Filmmaking, He has worked with several production companies on a freelance basis, they include Little Pond, Go trolley Film
