About
Born in San Francisco in 1969, I've been based in Nairobi for the last 8 years where I have my own boutique production company specializing in videography, TV drama series, reality, documentary, web series and feature films.
I function as the executive producer and as well work as a producer, actor, scriptwriter, composer and singer. My first drama series, "Stay," won a Kalasha (Kenya) Award in 2013 for Best Supporting Actor and my new show, "Coffee With Milk," is a reality show about interracial dating in Kenya, starring Eric Omondi.
Clients include Unicef, The Brookings Institute, US Embassies in Kenya, DRC, Rwanda, Mozambique and Zambia, Intel, Nokia, HIVOS, Distant Relatives, EA Wave.
I also do work on a freelance basis for various U.S. Embassies in Africa as a Cultural Envoy, both as a visual artist and as a filmmaker and have recently created the film "Futurpreneur: 5 Game Changers in the DRC."
I have 3 new shows in development as well as feature film about the hypocrisy of the neo-colonialst UN Expat lifestyle, especially in Africa.
I was trained as a visual artist at Swarthmore College, PA, U.S. and graduated in 1991.
