Haşim Sezgin Kılıç was born in Ankara in 1982. Graduated from Gazi University's Radio Television and Cinema field. Working as a reporter in Hurriyet Daily Newspaper since 2007. Produced many documentaries and short films. Kılıç drew attention to global warming and its effect by two photography exhibitions in 2010 and 2012. He directed a documentary called ‘Animal Farm’ in 2013, short film called ‘Path’ in 2014, short film called ‘Darkness’ in 2015, documentary called ‘Red Ribbon’ in 2016, documentary called ‘Wardrobe’ in 2017.

As a multimedia producer, journalist, artist, cameraperson, video editor I have worked as a video journalist and on documentaries in the Middle East & New York City. I have worked for Democracy Now! as a television producer and for PBS channel WNET both out of New york City. For PBS I was working in the field in Jordan and Lebanon. The stories we focused on were human rights based - the Iraqi refugee crisis in Syria, Women's issues in the region and exposing the connectedness of various cultures instead of focusing on difference.
