Marc M Sarrado is a talented experienced cinematographer. Based between Europe and Asia Pacific. Exquisite taste for visuals, light and colours. Marc began working in television in 1996 in TV3 in Barcelona. Since becoming an independent cinematographer in 2006, he has focused on documentaries and new media productions dedicated on a variety of subjects such as environmental, scientific, social, economic, and human rights. His work has taken him to 54 countries in 7 continents, and has included adventures through the Amazon jungle, Afghanistan, Iraq, Antarctica, Atacama, Sahara, Gobi, Wadi Rum, Thar and Sahel deserts. As a cinematographer, Marc’s collaborations include major networks such as PBS, ARTE France, Aljazeera, CBS, Bloomberg TV, CNBC, NBC, FOX IC, RTBF, TVE, NOS, EL PAíS and RTS. He has served as Director of Photography for multi-award-winning feature documentaries such as The light Bulb Conspiracy (2010), The Dalí Dimension (2010), Sand Wars (2013) or Songs of Redemption (2013). Marc has a vast experience in Asia as a result of his years based in China (2012-2017). As a result of his Asian experience he became a bridge between East and West. Marc Sarrado is available worldwide as a DOP for documentaries, narrative TVCs, social media narrative content and other international productions.
