Oluwaseun Babalola is a Sierra Leonean/Nigerian-American director, shooter, and producer. She began her career as video editor in digital content with brands such as Yahoo!, Macy’s, and Conde Nast, and later ventured into film production as Director of Photography and Co-Producer on the successful indie documentary, “Trichster.” Post “Trichster,” Oluwaseun has produced projects with her production company in Haiti, Botswana, Sierra Leone, Nigeria and more. She currently produces “ṢOJU,” a documentary series highlighting the diversity of Africa’s modern youth culture. My name is Andy B, I'm now a Boston based FCP editor/videographer and digital media artist. I just spent the last year living in New Zealand in a small sustainable organic farming community. Before that I was living in Australia for the past 10 years were I covered stories from profiling local Australian bands in pubs, to protests seeking the release of Australian citizens held in Guantanamo Bay. While there I spent a year as program editor for an arts and entertainment cable channel. I have also independently shot, edited and produced my own short documentaries, one which was award winning. I also shot and edited several pieces about Occupy Wall Street in New York City. I currently work in television as a production coordinator, in the documentary department. I've been working in the world of journalism, editing, animation and documentary both in print and film for the past three years after finishing my masters in documentary journalism at NYU J-School. In addition to my "day-job" I'm working on two independent docs. I'm interested in the grey spaces that exist between cultures, and the aspects of humanity that are able to cross the borders of age, race, gender, language, and sexual orientation. Bruno Federico is an Italian videographer, editor and documentary filmmaker based in New York. He has produced, shot and edited reports from various Latin American countries, working regularly for PBS NewsHour and CCTV America. In 2017 he won the Overseas Press Club Award foe the best coverage in Latin America He has also shot and directed several documentary films, including "El Gigante" (The Giant) that picked up special mentions at international film festivals, and "Apuntando al Corazón" (Striking the Heart), a critical examination of the Colombian military’s propaganda campaigns. Bimina is a multimedia journalist and filmaker. She works on documentaries both collaborative and independent. She also freelances for several online publications and non-profit organizations. Bimina has collaboratively produced and directed a half hour documentary “Reviving Nepal Bhasa” focusing on near extinction of culture and language of endangered community of Newars, indigenous to central Nepal. Simon Mendes is a New York-based director, producer, and editor, and a member of the PGA. He was an Associate Producer of both the Netflix Original documentaries BECOMING, the story of the former First Lady Michelle Obama, and DICK JOHNSON IS DEAD, which premiered at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival, won the Special Jury Award for Innovation in Non-fiction Storytelling, and was shortlisted for the 2021 Academy Awards® - Best Documentary Feature.
