My name is Dan. I'm a former Midwesterner and a current New Englander. I've had years of experience making nonfiction and fiction narrative cinema, and I've also been involved in sports production and producing for public television in my home state of Nebraska. On a fundamental level, my work work aims to examine the deeply intertwined relationships between human culture and the physical environments in which we make our homes. I'm particularly interested in intimately human stories: Those that find and highlight the beauty within the quotidian. Currently, I'm employed as a video production specialist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, and I'm in preproduction on a short poetic documentary about adolescent life on Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota.

I am a cinematographer and editor who recently relocated from Shanghai to New York. I have worked on a range of projects including music videos, commercials, and marketing work for Harvard, MIT, Google, Twitter, the US Nay, Reebok, and Martha Stewart. Documentaries have always interested me and this is a field I would love to get into. I would enjoy searching for the story wherever it may lead and would not mind facing dangerous situations to get it. Traveling is one of my favorite activities, having visited 31 countries across 4 continents (including 38 US States, 21 Chinese provinces, and 20 Philippine islands) and having lived in 4 countries on 3 continents. Jika González is an award-winning documentary filmmaker from Mexico City. She is based in New York where she works as a freelance cinematographer and producer. She holds a M.S. from the Columbia Journalism School where she occasionally teaches video and photography. Her work has taken her across the US and around the world where she has focused on telling stories about identity, the human consequences of immigration policy, and climate change. She prefers to work with a light footprint, shoots most of her work handheld, and seeks to capture raw and intimate moments with authenticity. Robin Cloud is a New York City-based comedian, writer, and director. She is the former host of BK Live, a daily show that showcases Brooklyn’s art, culture, and political scenes. She has been featured in Diva Magazine, GO magazine’s “Top 100 Women We Love,” Time Out New York’s “Quote of the Week”, and the Washington Post. Robin graduated cum laude from Howard University's School of Communications where she studied film under Haile Gerima. In addition, she has studied cinematography at the School of Visual Arts. Her first narrative short, Out Again, was executive produced by Refinery29 as part of their New Fronts Director Series and will be released in the Spring of 2017. Robin owns a Sony FS5 and has working knowledge of the Cannon C100 & C300.

Chris Manley studied anthropology and theater in college. He views anthropology as the study of the human condition from the outside and theater as that study from within. After college Chris became enamored with the way a camera could tell a story and highlight specific aspects of life. He has always enjoyed a lighter take on life. He leans toward finding the comedy in existence. He started out his visual storytelling career as a writer and performer. He then began learning how to shoot and edit and started his own production company, Bankrukt Productions, specializing in comedic storytelling. Hi! My name is Zeshawn. I'm a nonfiction filmmaker- with a background in directing, producing and editing. My feature length film, TWO GODS, was supported and funded by ITVS, Sundance Institute and Ford Foundation and was broadcast nationwide on Independent Lens on PBS. Levi Walton is a Brooklyn based multidisciplinary visual artist, native to the tropics of Panama. Joshua Simon has a degree in sociology from Brandeis University, and has been working in film and television for the last 5 years, with experience in lighting, sound, shooting, directing, producing and post-production -- sometimes all at once! Joshua has made videos with non-profits and foundations, including Cancer Research Institute, NY Hall of Science, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation as well as corporations including Facebook, Google, Microsoft and Dropbox.
