From the UK and living Vancouver, BC. I am an experienced, hardworking and enthusiastic Shooting Researcher/AP with over 6 years in the industry. I spent 2 years working in the United Arab Emirates as a freelancer in Broadcast, Advertising and Events. For the past year I have been based in Plymouth, South West UK, working on a number of Broadcast TV Projects. Confident self-shooter with experience on a number of cameras. Competent in setting up shoots, coordinating with contributors and working to tight deadlines. A real passion for working with and filming wildlife. I have experience shooting with the following cameras: -Canon C300 -Sony FS7, PDW 700 & 800 -Sony PMW-300 & A7. -Canon XF-305, -5D ii & iii, -C100. Skilled with Final Cut Pro X and Adobe Photoshop. Experienced in logging and transcribing all relevant media. I have worked throughout the UAE, specifically in the Abu Dhabi Emirate and have shot in a multitude of locations for a variety of stories. I spent the vast majority of that time working on location alongside Producer Directors. I work very well with GoPro cameras and have rigged and shot in many different locations and activities. Including driving (on and off road), high speed racing, roller-coasters, boats, various water sports and with the DJI Phantom quadcopter drone.

I’ve worked 15 years in pre-production, non-linear editing, production, post-productions and shooting, providing content for most of the open channels in Brazil as well for international broadcasters such as Discovery Channel, Turner Broadcasting (truTV) and online content for Discovery Channel Mobile, Google, Turn Here and Condé Nast, all described in my resume. I have a lot of experience with DSLR cameras, POV and professional camcorders as well as field recording with lavalieres and shotguns, total domain in Final Cut Studio (I’ve worked with Avid, Premiere and Edit), After Effects and Adobe CS6. Experience in shooting from helicopters, bicycles, motorbikes, snowmobiles, hang gliders and boats even from rappel, cranes and helicopters skids. Produced and shot in extreme climate conditions like Artic Circle, North Sea, Himalaya, Amazon forest, Thar Desert and thorn forest. I worked in tremendous police operations as well as in emergency rescues and medical transplant missions.

Jack is passionate about experiential films that defy easy classification. His unconventional evocative work has been programmed at hundreds of international film festivals, including TIFF, SXSW, True/False, IDFA, and Sheffield. In his wildlife short film, Nuisance Bear, “the bears share space with the people who’ve come to see them, walking cautiously between parked vehicles, being watched and watching back.” — The New Yorker In 2023, Nuisance Bear was shortlisted for an Academy Award® and nominated for two Emmys® for Cinematography and Sound Design. The 13-minute film is distributed by The New Yorker and available for free online. Jack is currently in production on his debut feature. Jack was an Executive Producer for The Territory directed by Alex Pritz and produced by William Miller, Lizzie Gillet, Sigrid Dyekjaer, and Darren Aronofsky. The Territory premiered at Sundance 2022 where it won both an Audience Award and Special Jury Award.

Originally from Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, he is an ACTRA and SOCAN member working in film, television, and theatre spanning the major centres of southern and central Alberta. He is best known as Joe Kipp in "The Secret History of the Wild West" (APTN), as an actor and composer of the critically acclaimed international award-winning production of Maev Beaty and Erin Shields’ tantalizing play, Montparnasse (2016-17), as well as for his role as Toby on "Tribal" (APTN), for his portrayal of Stanley Kowalski in Tennessee Williams' "A Streetcar Named Desire" produced by Theatre Outré (2019) and as a solo musician performing under his own name. Nick has been a mentor for Telus: Community Stories 2019 as well as a host of multiple acting workshops in Lethbridge, AB. He is a founding board member and current vice-president of the Lethbridge Independent Film Society (LIFS) and the owner and founder of HatChap Productions Inc, a Lethbridge based, media production company. He is a graduate of both the Art Institute of Vancouver’s Professional Recording Arts program (2010) and the University of Lethbridge's Dramatic Arts program (2017). After graduating in 2017 he has continued to pursue acting and composing for theatre, film and television productions while attending many acting and professional development workshops. He landed multiple roles in the Calgary based, Storybook Theatre’s 2018 Season of Change as DARRY in The Outsiders, and as a guitarist and actor in Huck Finn. He has worked as a background actor on multiple Alberta based television programs and has now moved into speaking roles on some excellent network television shows. Bohle has been the lead sound designer for multiple independent features, commercials and short films, most notably Monique's on 4th (2021 - Festival circuit), Rationale (2020-21 - Festival circuit |Best Crime Short - Calgary Independent Film Festival), A Wink or a Smile (2019) and is now in post-production as a producer and the lead sound designer for #Partytime (2022), a thriller crime feature film set to hit festival circuits in the latter half of 2022. He also recently completed principal photography as the lead actor in another independent short called Divine Intervention directed by Majid Koudmani (Calgary/Vancouver). Additionally, yet another Storyhive documentary called Chess for Life is set to broadcast on Telus Optik VOD in fall 2021 that saw Nick as the colourist, co-editor, composer and sound designer. Finally, Nick has continued his development as a creator moving into developing, producing and directing network level productions. ​ Furthermore, Nick is a music improviser for improvised theatre productions such as Drunk Improv (2016-21), LinkedImprov (2015-16) and Gomorrah (2017-2019), as well as a composer and sound designer of theatre productions such as Inhabited (2014 & 2017) and Mars Ain’t the Kind of Place to Raise your Kids (2015). He has also composed music for multiple commercials, documentary pieces and short films and was a dialogue editor and mix-down engineer for the 2010 VIFF ‘Most Popular Canadian Film’ Two Indians Talking. ​
