I am a freelance print and radio journalist in English-language media in Quebec City. I am bilingual in English and French, and I speak basic Spanish and Haitian Creole. I currently work with CBC Radio, The Quebec Chronicle-Telegraph, International Figure Skating Magazine, Life in Québec Magazine (and website) and the French-language monthly Les Immigrants de la Capitale. I have had clips in the Montreal Gazette and La Presse. I'm a freelance reporter since 1995. I cover mostly arts and entertainment, with a special interest in metal music, which is very popular in Quebec and Montreal. I cover television (lots of american series translated in french!), litterature (fanstastic, thriller, polar), fashion and even animals stories. Over the years, I've been freelancing for Voir, Filles d'aujourd'hui, Clin d'oeil, MSN.ca, TV Hebdo, 7Jours, Alibis, Animal. In french of course. Since 1997, I host a radio show called Grimoire du metal on CISM 89.3 FM, which is Montreal University college radio. More recently, I've been teaching a workshop on journalism at Montreal University. It's a 18 hours crash course open to students and adults in general. No credits are given to this workshop, but I teach the basics informations needed to someone considering becoming a reporter or just wanting to know more about medias.

I'm a Scottish filmmaker who is now based in Vancouver. I have worked for the BBC and have films hitting festivals in 2013. My passion is in both documentary and fiction work, but I have also been a human rights and environmental campaigner and co-ordinator. I headed up a campaign against Donald Trump's development in Scotland which is featured in the feature documentary 'You've Been Trumped.' I love storytelling and trying to perfect this craft. I believe we can really use this skill, like commercial advertisers do, to tell important stories in more engaging ways. I started out in online news back in 2012 and was soon shooting and editing on the Australian news series "The Feed." The job involved shooting and cutting both daily pieces, which required very fast turnarounds, and longer form news stories which honed my camera and editing skills to make me a better story teller. From there I spent a year working on the comedy-satire series "Tonightly with Tom Ballard" and then went freelance where I would focus on editing and go on to cut reality tv, commercials, a web series and Youtube content. Despite the focus on editing I still managed to get some shooting/DOP work in, most notably on the "Pets Best Friend" commercial for Koala which I also edited.
