I consider myself a storyteller first and a filmmaker second. I truly believe that pretty pictures without soul and purpose are simply just that, pretty pictures. Every project I take on, whether it's a documentary, corporate vignette, or commercial, I always rely on story to drive every decision made in crafting content that speaks and resonates with audiences on a deeper human level. My work has taken me from the headquarters of fortune 500 companies to impoverish villages in rural Ghana. I've had the opportunity to interview industry leaders, dreamers, artists, innovators, underdogs, victims of abuse, terminally ill patients, and activists. From bigger than life characters to normal everyday working people, we all have a story to share and yet good stories only happen to those who can tell them. I am grateful and blessed to continue my pursuit of happiness and passion to craft good stories that challenge the way we think and speak to the heart to move the mind. Over the years my work has been recognized with numerous awards including 5 Emmys and 1 Telly, and yet I feel I've only just scratched the surface. When I am not behind a camera or computer I enjoy spending quality time with my family hiking a trail, traveling, getting our hands dirty in the veggie garden or playing with our dog and chickens.

I'm a 23 year-old documentary and commercial video producer. I run a production company in Chattanooga TN with a team of full time and part time contractors to fill the necessary crew positions. We are entering year number two as a startup. I got interested in visual storytelling in college where I made my first feature documentary, Reel Old School, and interviewed several prominent industry contributors. The film Reel Old School takes a look into the world of music recording and highlights artists and producers that choose to record their music using analog methods, and celebrates the DIY culture among independents. Interviewees on that project include, Steve Albini (engineer and recordist for Nirvana and The Pixies), Chris Walla (Guitarist and Producer, Death Cab for Cutie), Bil VornDick (Engineer, Marty Robins, Bob Dylan), Derek Webb, and Clare Lynch (2 time IBMA Vocalist of the year). SO.... In brief terms, I love culture documentary stories. Specifically stories that embrace nostalgia and associate with larger than life characters. I also really love the concept and mission of StoryHunter.TV

I'm Kip Cole and I've been in television and video production for almost 30 years. I started out in news production then moved into the realm of public television where I've produced award-winning documentaries. I was also the producer for "Southern Routes," a magazine-style program featuring short segments on interesting people, places and things to do. I love finding a fascinating, unknown story and developing it into an entertaining and informative piece of video. I enjoy all kinds of stories, but seem to be drawn to the categories of human interest, history, cultural events, civil rights and travel. I started my own production company, Pale Moon Media, four years ago. Since then I've worked on numerous projects, both short and long form. My strengths are writing, producing and the ability to tell an interesting story in a brief amount of time. I enjoy working as part of a team, but also excel as a "one-man band.' I've had extensive technical experience in the areas of computer graphics, videography and video editing. I look forward to the opportunity to become a part of the Storyhunter team.
