I am New Delhi based freelance documentary film maker Youtuber and cameraman as well. I have 26 years experience That was the advent of Satellite Television by the start of 90s in India, I had become part of this industry by choice. By now I have spent around 25 years behind the camera. My experience has grown with ever changing technology – and my passion for visual excellence has kept the transition from low band era to today's high resolution digital formats smooth. During these years, I have shot various kinds of shows from fictional, Documentaries, corporate films, Ad films, News-current affairs to multi-cam live shows like sports, in rough field conditions to elective shoots in the studio. With élan and alacrity. With aptitude of understanding visual sense. News coverage taught me to be agile and shoot without any possibility of re-takes. Being a Independent(Freelance) cameraman for Sports live matches, to go live-on air- to the audience, besides tech savviness and visual creativity, I strengthened my confidence too.

I've studied Film-making from Whistling Woods International with a specialization in Cinematography. I've been working professionally as a freelancer for almost 5 years in Delhi as well as Mumbai. I started working in the Hindi film industry as an apprentice to the leading cinematographer, Mr. KU Mohanan on films like Raees and Jab Harry Met Sejal. I also assisted on a couple of Netflix International Docu-series shot a while back, namely "Sex and Love", hosted by Christianne Amanpour (DOP - Federic Menou) and "Cricket Fever" on IPL Mumbai Indians (DOP - Steve Lidgerwood). Independently, I've been shooting both fiction as well as non-fiction content. To name a few, I've shot a documentary based on the life and works of an Indian Contemporary artist, Bharti Kher, which got screened at the Hauser & Wirth Gallery, Somerset, U. K. I recently got an opportunity to shoot an international docu-series based on unconventional education systems around the world, for which I shot the India-leg. Currently, I'm shooting a docu-fiction on the life and works of a leading Indian contemporary artist, Sudhir Patwardhan which is in its principal photography stage. I'm also interested in lensing commercials, music videos and short films with a brief experience working in them. I also have a keen interest in photography, particularly capturing the changing landscapes of today, vis-a-vis tradions of the past.
