I am a shooter, producer, director, editor and shooter. I've worked in capacities from a one-man crew in war zones to the director of branded series with large crews. Kayla Tong (b. 1993) is a cinematographer and director. She was born in colonial Hong Kong, molded by Los Angeles, and briefly called Missouri and Lisbon home in between. After graduating from USC School of Cinematic Arts in 2015, her narrative and documentary work have screened in a number of venues such as The New Yorker Documentary Series, Busan International Film Festival, New Orleans Film Festival, LA Asian Pacific Film Festival, and LA Shorts Fest. Kayla is a Busan’s Asian Film Academy's cinematography fellow, a Visual Communications’s Armed with a Camera Fellowship directing fellow. Kayla's rootless upbringing and encounters with people from around the world inform the themes of much of her work, telling stories of diaspora and displacement. Eric Paul Maryea - Began his career as a writer and director of corporate training films for a multinational utility company, National Grid. For 12 years he has been instrumental in developing a library of films to train the next generation of electric and gas workers. Shawn Baldwin is a documentary filmmaker, photographer and multimedia journalist based in Berkeley, California. His work is published in The New York Times, Stern, Newsweek, Time Magazine, Vanity Fair, Bloomberg Businessweek and The New York Times Magazine. Shawn lived in the Middle East for more than a decade covering war in Iraq, revolutions in Egypt and Libya, and the growing influence of hardline Islam across the Arab world. He has worked throughout the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Europe on stories. He is the recipient of the 2016 Dorothea Lange Fellowship and has won several awards including Magazine Portrait & Personality in the Best of Photojournalism competition for his work in Afghanistan. JAY GUNNING grew up in rural Australia. The driving purpose for all of his work has been to demonstrate the similarities of all cultures and ethnicities with the intention of breaking down social preconceptions. After working internally for international NGO's fighting to alleviate poverty he has a deep understanding of politics and implications relating to story telling. Chris Esper is an award-winning director based out of Attleboro, MA. Originally from New Jersey, Chris developed a passion and love for film at a very young age. When he was in his teens, he received his first camera and started experimenting with it. After high school, he attended New England Institute of Technology in East Greenwich, RI where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Digital Recording Arts. He has since directed several short films which have gone on to screen at a number of film festivals and win several awards. My name is Kenneth Klemens, I am a multimedia producer and photojournalist focusing on short documentary films in the feature and news genres. Oluwaseun Babalola is a Sierra Leonean/Nigerian-American director, shooter, and producer. She began her career as video editor in digital content with brands such as Yahoo!, Macy’s, and Conde Nast, and later ventured into film production as Director of Photography and Co-Producer on the successful indie documentary, “Trichster.” Post “Trichster,” Oluwaseun has produced projects with her production company in Haiti, Botswana, Sierra Leone, Nigeria and more. My name is Andy B, I'm now a Boston based FCP editor/videographer and digital media artist. I just spent the last year living in New Zealand in a small sustainable organic farming community. Before that I was living in Australia for the past 10 years were I covered stories from profiling local Australian bands in pubs, to protests seeking the release of Australian citizens held in Guantanamo Bay. While there I spent a year as program editor for an arts and entertainment cable channel. I have also independently shot, edited and produced my own short documentaries, one which was award winning. I currently work in television as a production coordinator, in the documentary department. I've been working in the world of journalism, editing, animation and documentary both in print and film for the past three years after finishing my masters in documentary journalism at NYU J-School. In addition to my "day-job" I'm working on two independent docs. Bruno Federico is an Italian videographer, editor and documentary filmmaker based in New York.
