I’m an Italian independent documentary filmmaker based in New York City and part-time in Los Angeles, I’ve been freelancing as a producer, field producer, and cinematographer for VICE Media since early 2016, and I’ve collaborated with numerous firms such as Radical Media, Anchor Entertainment, Scott Free, PBS, Hulu, Rolling Stones. First exposed to photography in the early 1980’s, I have always enjoyed capturing images of places I have been and places I want to remember and tell others about. It seems that the camera was always with me no matter where I went. On trips around the state or around the country, photographs documented my travels and memories. The pinnacle of my personal photography was between 2001 and 2005 where I had the unique opportunity to work and live in Antarctica. The amazing scenery and experiences there could only be told to others through photography. With the availability of email and internet I was able to share my adventure through digital images. In 2012 I was awarded a First Place award in News Photography from the New Jersey Press Association and a Second Place award in News Photography from the Pennsylvania Press Association. Journalism is a second career for me. I got my start in public safety and did that for 20 years before jumping over to journalism. I specialize in covering breaking and spot news especially in situations where there is heavy law enforcement presence and or interaction with firefighters or paramedics, which nowadays is just about every large event and or disaster. Speaking the “language” of public safety, understand what is happening I can read the environment and anticipate the pending actions. Having this edge helps me better cover the news and ultimately stay safe. My work has been published in local news papers like the Express-Times and national publications including the New York Times and the USA Today. Chris is a contract freelance photographer with Lehighvalleylive.com / The Express-Times, Associated Press, NBC News, ABC News, WFMZ-TV, WTXF Fox 29, WPVI 6ABC, New York Daily News, Reuters and the Allentown Morning Call.

I'm a multi-faceted technician who is well-versed in all aspects of video production. My expertise in live streaming, camera, lighting, sound, editing, compression and visual effects has allowed me to produce over 600 videos for the Web and TV. I believe that documentaries are the last bastion of journalism. Having worked for network news at MSNBC for almost four years as an editor helped lead me to this conclusion. Documentaries can help change the world in which we live. Currently I am working on a feature documentary about a self taught artist who is entrenched in the noise scene, comics, zines, and performance art. I like to hunt for documentary stories about artists, social movements, historical events, human & animal rights, science, technology, and environmental issues. I believe a can-do attitude and team-player mentality makes a great video producer. My goal is to be the best of the best and create content that connects to audiences worldwide.

Hi, Been working with cameras since I was a kid. Began working professionally with cameras in 2007 and have been expanding my knowledge and passion ever since. Starting in the extreme sports documentation side of things, I've slowly expanded through weddings for a short while and landed on promotional video production. Working for several years in a marketing department for a ski mountain, I learned how to work in harsh conditions and with a variety of people and goals. The majority of my experience is in one or two-man operation but have been dabbling in larger productions in more recent years. My business partner and I started Maine Mountain Media in 2014 and have been growing the company and enjoying the life of self-employment. We love to work with a variety of clients so we don't get stuck in a rut and creating everything from 15-second spots for web advertising to 2 or 3-minute longer-form documentary style videos. If you're looking for high quality product, with a flexible work-flow and timeline, we might be a perfect match.
