Ayşe Nur Gençalp is an advanced filmmaker, screenwriter, director of photography with a passion for academia and teaching related to film and digital production. She completed her Bachelors of Science degree in General Business from Istanbul Technical University and State University of New York/New Paltz. She then worked as a financial analyst in Turkey for a year and a half, before she decided to study film. She attended Miami International University of Art and Design to get her Master of Fine Arts Degree in Film and Video Production. During her studies she worked as a Teaching Assistant in Miami International University. She also directed her own productions. Ayşe worked as a cinematographer, film consultant in non-profit organizations and was also instructor in New York Film Academy, in New York City. Merve Sena Kılıç was born in Istanbul. She studied business administration at Boston University. She completed her second bachelor's degree in Sociology at Anadolu University. After graduating, she took journalism and communication courses at Galatasaray University for a year. Between 2009-2013, she worked as a journalist and television reporter for various national and international media organisations. Merve Sena, who received HEFAT "Harsh environmental conditions and emergency first aid training", worked as a field and documentary producer in war zones. Between 2019-2023, she worked as a chief producer in the news documentary department of TRT World channel. He was born in Kars, Turkey in 1983. He wrote his thesis about the cinema of Tarkovsky. Mintaş’s short Snow, completed in 2010, received the Golden Orange for best film in Antalya Film Festival that is one of the most prestigious awards in Turkey. Snow has competed in various film festivals in the country and around the world won eight different awards. His debut feature Song of My Mother was selected for co-production markets and work-in-progress sections in Meetings on the Bridge at Istanbul IFF, Agora at Thessaloniki IFF, Sundance Script Lab at !f Istanbul. It received the post-production and distribution award at Meetings on the Bridge. The film was supported by Turkish Ministry of Culture and CNC Cinema du Monde. I was born in Istanbul in 1990. In 2008 I started working in film industry as a sound assistant. In 2012 I directed the my first short film "Assassination of Silence" with Murat Onur Öner. In the summer of 2013 I directed short film named "Bekir" . These short films were shown at many national and international festivals. Mehdi Shabani is an Iranian documentary filmmaker and journalist based in Istanbul. His documentaries, videos and essays have been published and broadcasted across various media including BBC, Deutsche Welle, Voice of America and Aasoo.
