EDITOR/COLORIST/DIRECTOR An experienced filmmaker based in Istanbul with a demonstrated history of working in the media production industry since 2007. Skilled in Directing, Editing, Coloring, and Shooting. Working on short and long documentaries, TV Ad’s, Drama, TV programs. I finished my masters in 2016 in media, and my graduation research was about the role of editing in films. In 2015 I participated with my first short documentary film “A Homeless Pride” as a Director and editor in Al Jazeera Documentary Film Festival, I had an honorable mention (Best Five). I have a remarkable relationship with our clients some of them we have been working together for more than 6 years, although they have editing departments in their companies. My previous clients include Aljazeera network, Qatar TV, Almajd TV, Qatar Charity, Royal society for the conservation of nature and many other production companies.

I worked as a TV correspondent for many years, for the Turkish spoken TV channels, for Turkish spoken branches of international TV stations like CNN Turk and Aljazeera Turk. I worked internationally for the Turkish Public TV TRT, as Jerusalem correspondent. I worked in Middle East, South Asia, Caucasus and Balkans. I made TV stories about conflicts in these regions such as American invasion in Iraq in 2003, Israeli- Lebanese war in 2006, Kurdish issue in Turkey, Israel - Palestine conflict, Pakistan Army's Swat Valley operations. I also made a mid-length (47 min.) documentary, named "Resister", about Tobacco Workers in Turkey's capital Ankara which lasted 78 days. This film deemed worthy of being "Best documentary" in 2010 by the Turkish Film Critics Association (SIYAD). Murat UTKU was born in 1972. Studied in Naval High School and Naval Academy. He left Naval Academy and graduated from İstanbul University, Faculty of Political Sciences/Economy and politics. Worked as a TV Journalist, at national and international TV Stations such as CNN Turk, Haberturk, TRT Turk. He worked for TRT Turk as the representative to Jerusalem for a short term. Travelled to the south east of Turkey very often to work on Kurdish issue. Has been been to Middle East so many times times, had an exprience on “crisis” and “conflict resolution”. Heʼs been to crisis areas like, Iraq (during the American invasion), Kosovo, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Palestine as TV correspondent, and Armenia many times to report about the conflict between two countries Turkey and Armenia. He reported Russia – Georgia war in 2008, which he followed and reported the war in South Osetia, Tbilisi and invaded Georgian city, Gori as a TV correspondent. He worked as TRT Türkʼs representative to Jerusalem in 2009. He produced and directed TV program called ʻHey Taksiʼ for TRT Türk. In 2010, he received Progressive Journalists Associationʼs Mahmut Tali Öngören TV Award with a TV story screened at CNN Türk, called ʻTwo Languages in a Suitcaseʼ. ‘Resister’, the documentary he made, deemed worthy of the ‘Best documentary’ of the year. He worked as Senior Correspondent for Aljazeera Turk, left his position in 2015. He has been working as a field producer for Aljazeera English since then. He spent more than two years in the South East of Turkey on the border with Syria, watched closely what’s been happening about the war within Syria, made news pieces on refugee issues either in te refugee camps administrated by Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Agency AFAD or worked on stories about the refugees who have currently been living in the cities like Gaziantep, Sanliurfa, Kilis as well as Istanbul. As a jurnalist and as a film maker he also worked with several NGOs including Turkish, Syrian and international aid groups and agencies, made TV and written stories about refugee children’s education as well. Murat Utku also worked as one of the field producers in Turkey for the documentary called Human Flow, filmed by Chinese artist and film director Ai Weiwei, about Syrian refugees screened at Berlin International Film Festival Berlinale on 2017.

The TV-Journalist, fixer, cameraman & director Christian Feiland located since 24 years in Istanbul. He became a “globe trotter” as an infant due to his father´s job. As a toddler he has lived for 4 years in Istanbul and as teenager he has spent 3 years in Karachi, Pakistan. In 1993 Chris started his media carrier at the Radio station “Kiss FM Berlin”. As young journalist he moderated a 2h program called “Kiss Young Culture”. Shortly afterwards he changed to the field of TV and he was hired by the “Deutsche Welle TV” service provider “Media Port Berlin” as a TV-Reporter. Istanbul became his destination by choice in 1997. He settled down and worked for the German national TV station “ARD” in the Istanbul Studio. Later on he started his own production company, which produces programs for TV stations world-wide. He has worked with various well-known personalities like: Ivan Watson, Michael Bloomberg, Dieter Kronzucker, Claus Kleber, Anne Will, Antonia Rados, Tilman Jens, etc.

She was graduated from Ankara University, The Faculty of Communication, Radio Television and Cinema in 2002. She worked as a reporter for newspapers, magazines and TVs between 1998-2002. By 2006, she started to work at "24 News Channel" in Turkey, as an documentary program producer and director assistant. “The Last Migration: Sarıkeçililer” was her first experience as a documentary director. She also worked as a news editor there. Then she passet to r “A Haber TV ” news channel in Turkey as a news program editor. She also produced and presented many short news program focused on social memory of Turkey's late history and she reported in live broadcasts many times there. In 2014, she resigned from “A Haber” and completed her postgraduate thesis on political communication strategies of social movements in Turkey at Marmara University. Then she worked as freelancer, produced many documentaries for Rudaw TV News Channel, based in Northern Iraq, worked as reporter, producer, researcher, editor and cameraman for many production companies. Now she works as a project specialist at Creative Industries Platform Directory at Kadir Has University ın Istanbul.

Aslihan is an independent writer-director-producer based in NYC and Istanbul. She received her BA in IR and Photography from Yale. She received her MFA in film from NYU. Her award winning short film RAZAN premiered at the Rotterdam FF in 2006 and went on to screen at dozens of festivals. Aslihan has written three scripts: FLORENCE B., winner of a Sloan Foundation Feature Writing Grant in 2007, GATED a selection to Berlinale Script Station and Thessaloniki FF Crossroads in 2010, and G.E.Z.I., a finalist for the SFFS/KRF Grant and Hubert Bals Fund in 2013. OVERDRIVE:ISTANBUL IN THE NEW MILLENNIUM, Aslihan’s first feature documentary examining the environmental and social challenges of uncontrolled urbanization, premiered at the Istanbul FF in April 2011 and was screened in NYC, Washington DC, Toronto, Mexico City, Sao Paolo, Brussels, Vienna etc. She is currently filming her feature documentary providing an intimate look into the dangerous lives of young Syrian activists from Aleppo.

My name is Ishak Çetin. I studied Radio, Television, and Cinema at Yeditepe University. I worked as a freelance video producer for approximately 5 years. Following that, I spent the next 4 years working as a news cameraman, where I shot over 7,000 live programs and news segments. For the subsequent 2 years, I worked as a videographer at a global 3D printer manufacturer, where I was responsible for shooting and editing videos and photographs for online platforms. During my regular jobs, I also continued to work freelance, capturing graduation photos at Yeditepe University and producing photographs and videos for 8 different schools.
