I am a Camera operator/Editor and producer, based in Sydney and shooting globally. I have more than 12 years experience and own a Sony FS7, with full production kit. . Until recently, I was a camera operator, editor and producer for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s Europe bureau, creating stories and films for Australia’s leading current affairs programmes. Dean G. Moore is an award-winning multidisciplinary director from Leicester, who now resides in London. In 2018 Dean directed an interactive documentary entitled “Change Gout” that was awarded two Pharma Lions from Cannes Festival as well as producing a music video for Drake that has over 38 million views!. Dean is a graduate of University College Falmouth, Karlstad University (Sweden) and London College of Communication (M.A) respectively. Dean’s university documentary films represented both UCF and LCC at the New/Now Festival For Emerging Artists (2011&2013). Before working in advertising Dean performed as a V.J. which resulted in Dean performing a live remix of the Japanese feature film “Kakera” at the opening night of the Raindance Film Festival in 2010. Rupert is a director working in documentary, web series, commercials and music video. His first feature documentary, Freedom for the Wolf, premiered at Sheffield Doc/Fest 2017. Filmed in five countries and executive produced by BBC Storyville founder Nick Fraser, it tells the story of the global crisis of democracy from the Umbrella Revolution in Hong Kong to the failure of Arab Spring in Tunisia to the rise of Donald Trump in America. He is currently working on a series of animated shorts on “Modern Madness” for the online documentary streaming platform Yaddo. His work has been featured in The New York Times, Little White Lies, Dangerous Minds, State of the Arts, USA Today, Mashable, Exposed Magazine, and Backseat Mafia. Rupert received a Double-Starred First in the Social and Political Sciences from the Jesus College, Cambridge, and a PhD from Harvard University in Sociology, where he was National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow. After graduating, he returned to film industry, which he worked in first as a small child. He has kept his academic eye for detail as well as his passion for big ideas with global impacts. He continues to write essays and has been published in The Independent, Salon.com, Paper Magazine, Dazed and Confused, and The Huffington Post. I am a video/ multimedia producer and director. I started to practice my profession after finishing my MA in Film Studies at Sussex University in 2015-16. In my professional freelance career, I've positioned as an assistant producer for a short film. Also, I directed and produced my own short film. I worked as a set photographer, which taught me how to work under pressure and develop a strong connection with the crew I worked. I've been working as a freelance for a year. Besides other individual works, I'm working as a multimedia producer with several companies as a freelancer that teaches me how to be part of pre-production, directing and post-reduction process. Recently, I worked as Multimedia Producer for the Artist Open Houses Festival. I intensely worked with artists and document, and I created a content about the artist’s work within the festival which I learned to work closely with social media manager to produce content for social media accounts. After, I worked as a head photographer for Brighton Digital Festival 2017. I also worked as a video producer for HOUSE Biennial 2017. I documented two artists’ works, Andrew Omoding and Anthony Stevens whose are commissioned artists for HOUSE Biennial and Outside In UK. For this project, I worked with other freelancers who involve in the post-production part. This project taught me how to work with as a team and producing the work in depth from pre-to post-production. I am currently working as a video producer for an independent project called The House That Bloggers Built which make me involve in preparing the shoot, structuring the narrative, drawing a strategy for online video marketing and post-production. I am an independent filmmaker and director of photography working in London and New York, and a member of the Local 600 Cinematographers Guild in the US, and BAFTA Crew in the UK. With over 15 years of industry experience, my work has been featured at the Sundance and Tribeca film festivals, broadcast nationally, and has collected numerous awards along the way. Throughout my career I have worked on projects ranging from social issue documentaries to political satire comedy shows, all contributing to a unique perspective on storytelling where compassion and humor work side by side. My most recent films American Renaissance (2015) and Bending Steel (2013) have both premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and have gone on to screen in cinemas worldwide. The feature-length Bending Steel aired on DirecTV in the US, won both the Emerging Cinematic Vision and Audience Awards at the Camden International Film Festival, and received a nomination for the Cinema Eye Honors Spotlight Award. On the small screen, I was a director of photography for the Emmy Award winning Daily Show with Jon Stewart for nearly 10 years, and have recently been brought along by former Daily Show correspondent Samantha Bee to lens her new late night show on TBS, Full Frontal with Samantha Bee. I am an owner/operator of the 4K capable Sony FS7 Cinema Camera, and am available for hire on both union and non-union narrative and documentary films, television productions, commercials, and branded projects.
