I co-run Black Revolver Films, a 3-piece production company who are always on hand for any type of video production, from documentary pieces to commercials. As we started out over 12 years ago making behind the scenes shorts, we have grown from our early documentary days to creating high end commercials and promos for a whole host of repeat customers, including a 9 year relationship with Madame Tussauds, as well as recent collaborations with American Express, McDonalds and Panasonic. In 2020 we also acquired our very own photography studio, meaning we can shoot projects in house, creating even more of a 'one stop shop' environment, and providing our customer everything they need. Matt is a busy freelance director/cinematographer and editor living just outside London in the UK. and has been creating narrative films, documentaries, ads and promo video for various companies making over 200 films since 2008. I was born in 1982 in Naples, Italy. With an Italian father and a mother who is a mixture of French and English, I’ve always had lots of opportunity and desire to explore different cultures. I spent my school years in my home city studying fine arts, architecture and sculpture at the Liceo Artistico (an art school). At 18 I moved for the first tome to the UK to study Film, Media and Video Production at New Bucks College. Since graduating 2003 I’ve lived and worked in the UK, Spain and Australia, but more importantly established a filmmaking career that has taken me all over Europe. My fluency in Italian, English, Spanish, French and international experience within the film and video industry has also led to many international film and theatre companies employing me as part of their Italian production team. Since 2015 I'm established in Bristol where I work as Multimedia Officer for the University of the West of England. Released in 2018, my short film "N" was shown in more than 50 festivals around the world and has won several awards.

With my twelve years experience I feel very confident creating engaging and emotive video content across many different sectors for various clients. Some of my work includes producing and filming five shoots in two weeks around the world for Zurich International, travelling through the Namib desert and climbing the highest mountain in Namibia with INEOS, producing a series of videos for Rolls Royce and scaling an active volcano with Richard Branson for Virgin. I spent my formative years studying first Fine Arts in Italy and then obtaining a degree and masters in Neuroscience from the University of Manchester, England. I then came to filmmaking as a natural consequence of my interest in both art and the natural world. This unusual and diverse background means I feel comfortable with both the technical and aesthetic side of filming and photography, but also with the most rigorous and scientific attitude required in the research of wildlife documentaries. Having travelled extensively and witnessed first hand some of the destruction caused by human exploitation of the natural environment, I feel very strongly about environmental protection and use film as a medium to tell some of the most important and compelling stories about conservation. Rizky Rahadianto is an independent filmmaker with over six years of experience working with international media around the world, such as VICE, HBO (“The Last Cruise”), Netflix (“Human Playground”), Fairtrade (“Farmers”), Discovery (“Mystery of the Abandoned”), and Vox, among others. His work seeks to reimagine Indonesia’s hetero-patriarchal narrative through intimate collaborations with marginalized communities, from a Javanese dance troupe reviving an ancient drag tradition, to Timorese women tattooing themselves to survive sexual slavery. As a queer filmmaker himself, Rizky's ultimate goal is to create more space for nuanced minority representations and push for a more visually-just society. Rizky joined VICE as a senior producer in 2016 when the youth media company expanded to Indonesia. He helped build the Indonesia office’s video department from scratch, producing over 50 documentaries, and growing the channel from zero to over 500,000 subscribers in two years through popular series like Indonesia Riot, Akarasa, and Indopop. Since Rizky left VICE in 2019, he has continued producing content for various international media as a freelancer and screening his work at film festivals around the world, such as South by Southwest Film Festival and Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival.

Anatole is a London-based director specialising in documentaries and branded content. Having started his career as a documentary photographer, Anatole’s work particularly focuses on the interplay between documentary naturalism and a more intentional approach to cinematography. His branded work aims to bring authenticity to a brand’s narrative, by exploring genuine human stories through the lens of the brand. Whilst first and foremost a director, Anatole has worked variously as a producer, editor, and cinematographer. As a result, he approaches a project according to its needs, sometimes shooting solo and at other times working with a crew. He is particularly interested in exploring themes relating to the climate crisis. As Creative Director, he was on the founding team of RE:TV, a sustainability channel established by HM The King in 2020. Formerly a tutor at UCL's MA in Immersive Factual Storytelling, Anatole is also an experienced 360VR filmmaker. Anatole is mixed British Chinese, and grew up between the UK, Hong Kong, and Japan. For the past 11 years, Hannah's mission has been to learn firsthand the many languages of filmmaking so she can communicate with her cast and crew and create engaging stories. This challenge has seen her working with a variety of storytelling mediums including live-action, hand-painted and computer animation, stop motion, and puppetry. Hannah has directed, shot, edited, and animated commercials, music videos, fashion films, and award-winning short films. For more than a decade I have worked as a Self Shooting Director creating video content for many high-profile clients and organisations. My name is Hossam Sarhan. I am a video producer with experience on a multiple-award winning investigative documentary. I currently work at the BBC World Service and BBC Arabic where I have produced and animated stories on topics ranging from male sex abuse in Iraq to the struggle of transgender people in Kuwait, which have gained more than a million of views on the BBC different platforms. I have a keen interest in investigations on human rights issues affecting communities from the Middle East. In 2017, I was the UK executive producer for the multiple-award-winning investigation the End User. It revealed how weapons were being used in the war in Yemen had been supplied by the UK and the US, among others, in an apparent abuse of international laws and trade agreements. The investigation found a huge success, with around three million views. The main producer and investigator Mohamed Aboelgheit had won the Fetisov Journalism Award first prize in the category "Outstanding Contribution to Peace" In the year of 2019, and had won the golden medal from the United Nations Correspondents Associations as well. In 2015, I was one of the first people who helped in establishing the Arabic version of the lead platform AJ. I recruited top talent to help produce videos which received the most views on the Arabic platforms. All stories have more than more than 1 million views/each. In November 2015 I moved to London for a different challenge, I worked as a promo producer for a leading Arabic-Tv, I was the main script writer for the promos, I’ve written nearly a 1000 scripts and my promos got around 20 millions views around different platforms. Back in 2012, while still in Egypt, I created a political campaign in my country that led to the victory of the first civilian president in the Egyptian history. My campaign called “Squeeze a lemon”, which is similar to the famous English idiom “with a pinch of salt” The campaign found huge success and was widely popular. A lot of people had captured themselves squeezing a lemon over their head after voting. Due to its popularity, the civil candidate had won over the opposing candidate and gained 13 million votes. In relation to the campaign, a new political term had been formed “The lemon squeezers”, and the press and media named the 7 million votes that the candidate got in the second round of elections with this name, the name I created.

Originally from Hungary, I am based in the UK and travel between London, Budapest and Manchester to film stories. I can shoot, interview, edit and add graphics/short animations if required. I have worked as a broadcaster and documentary filmmaker for 2 years. As a broadcast journalist, I produced up to 100 self-shot news packages for Manchester's local television That's Manchester in 2015. One of my packages was also featured in the BBC's Digital Nation web series. I also shot a short documentary for the station. My first longer documentary, 'Star & Garter: your music stops here' will examine the last months of an iconic indie music venue in Manchester and the hardships of starting out as a musician in the city of The Smiths and Oasis. The film is currently in post production and will be completed by the end of this year. I did my MA in Journalism at Salford University in Greater Manchester, UK. I'm an experienced creative video producer, with a passion for telling people's stories. I've worked with refugees, young carers, young offenders, people with addictions and mental health problems, people who have been homeless, people who have disabilities, and people who just want to use their experience to make a difference. I strive to keep the story at the centre of my work. I believe that 'content is king' - but making films visually appealing is also vital in making content work its magic. Aydin Kapancik graduated from Anadolu University, Faculty of Communication Sciences, Cinema and Television Department in 2006. In the same year, he went to Czechia, where he went with the Erasmus program, and studied cinema at the art school FAMU.In 2010, he joined the documentary channel beIN Iz Tv/Sarkuteri Production team as a cinematographer. Until 2019, he took part in over one hundred television documentaries and corporate promotional films that prepared for Turkey's well-established companies. Aydın Kapancık also directed the independent documentary films Tomorrow Was Another Day, Storm and Lost Homeland. These films were screened in many festivals and won awards.
