Luis Arango 1983 La contemplación de lo visual llevo a Luis Arango a adoptar a la fotografía como su medio de lenguaje y profesión, misma que ha desarrollado por mas de 15 años, actualmente es fundador de PINHOLE® casa de contenidos audiovisuales radicada en la CDMX encargada de generar piezas publicitarias para distintas marcas, la versatilidad de su trabajo lo ha llevado a la realización de campañas publicitarias y diversos estilos, que van desde autos, documentales, producto, turismo, cobertura internacional en juegos centroamericanos y olímpicos y copas mundiales, ganador de bronce por parte del Comité Olímpico Internacional, por una campaña realizada para los juegos de invierno en Sochi 2014. Creador de “ 19/S el día que nos reencontramos”, proyecto que difundió a manera de homenaje, los sucesos derivados del sismo de la misma fecha en la CDMX, proyecto que se basa en tres ejes: 1.- Documental del mismo nombre, 2.- Exposición Fotográfica y 3.- Un Numero especial con la agencia fotográfica CUARTOSCURO. Hoy en día se encuentra desarrollando su segunda pieza documental la cual pretende cubrir un trayecto en 30 días que va desde Ushuaia hasta Alaska. En el 2011 fundé junto con un amigo cineasta y una amiga antropóloga una productora autónoma "Tlazocamati Producciones". El primer documental que rodamos fue sobre la vida de una mujer partera y desde entonces buscamos rodar documentales con el mismo espíritu que impulsó la creación de nuestra productora. Rodar documentales sustentados por intensas investigaciones haciendo uso de herramientas etnográficas y privilegiando una mirada comprensiva y crítica de la realidad. Queremos abordar todas aquella parcelas de la realidad que permanezcan en la oscuridad o que generen incomprensión con el propósito de brindarles una halo de luz. Nuestra línea esta muy centrada en el tema de la mujer, la vida cotidiana, la espiritualidad pero buscamos cada vez más ampliar nuestro abnico temático.En el 2011 estudié el master de antropología visual en la Universitat de Barcelona para afinar la metodología etnográfica y combinarla con las herramientas audiovisuales.

Self-taught and curious by profession, he has developed a large part of his film career as a cinematographer and documentary filmmaker. His professional origins are in public television (Channel 11, Channel 22), participating in anthropological, ethnographic, musical and environmental productions. Subsequently, he served as a producer of reality television programs for Sony Entertainment and the Discovery Channel. In 2011 he co-founded Perro Rojo Films, with a team of writers and filmmakers with the desire to explore characters, tell stories and experiment with new narratives. As a result, he is consolidated as a documentary film producer with the film Mexicanos de Bronze, (2016, Julio Fernández), winner of the national journalism award in 2017, best film in DocMontevideo, official selection at the Morelia International Film Festival and today available on Netflix. He has produced content documenting environmental conservation projects for UNDP-UN in Mexico. He returns to documentary cinema as a cinematographer with the film Las Ninfas del Celuloide, (2018, Tabatta Salinas, Audrea Gautier), with the support of IMCINE and IBERMEDIA. He is currently developing his first documentary project as a director.

As a cinematographer, he has collaborated in several documentary short films and of fiction, with support of Cinema, HD and Virtual Reality. Also in commercials for various public and private institutions; video clips; TV shows, and two feature films. He is an active member of the Mexican Association of Cinematographers (AMC) since 2005. Since 1999 he has linked the anthropological documentary to the research of the lifestyles of diverse communities in North, Central and South America for the design of public policies. On three occasions he has been a jury to choose the best documentary cinematography at the DOCSDF festival (2012, 2011, 2009) As a student, he received an honorable mention at the Kodak Film School Competition 2004 for the cinematography of the documentary El paisaje del cuerpo (Dir. Juan Carlos Lazo) In 2016 he photographed "Ávido", the first interactive Virtual Reality short film, in the world produced by VR Awake. Cinematographer by the University of México, the oldest cinema school in Latin America (2003).

Carlo Echegoyen Media journalist. (I am not a person, I am a bicycle.) Born in CDMX, he currently collaborates with Agence France-Presse and Ruptly news agencies as video STR in Mexico. His photographic and video work has been published in various national and international media such as Associated Press, Dagens Nyheter, NYT, Deutsche Welle, Revista Proceso, Animal Politico, among others. Focused on human rights and the environment, he has visited various states of the Mexican Republic with a main focus on migration, security and natural resources. In 2021 and 2022 his work as a camera and drone operator has been nominated and awarded at different festivals such as the INDEPENDENT PRODUCERS INDIE FILM FEST, MIC GÉNERO among others for his participation in various documentaries. The skills that best enhance his photographic gaze are the handling of Drones and camera stabilization systems in extreme conditions such as kayaks, canyons, follow-up flights to moving subjects, violent social protests or armed movements. He has collaborated with different production companies and film crews. Of self-management training, he has participated in several courses of audiovisual production and direct sound. Livia Radwanski is a Brazilian photographer and filmmaker based in Mexico City since 2007. She received a BFA in Film/Animation/Video at Rhode Island School of Design in the United States in 2006. She worked at Pochron Studios, a fine art photography printing and retouching studio in New York City before moving to Mexico in 2007 where she has been developing long-term documentary multimedia projects on themes such as urbanism, identity and religion in Latin America. Commercially she works within the architecture/cultural and film industries. Her work has been published in Piauí Magazine (BRA), Vice Magazine (MEX) , Gatopardo Magazine (MEX), Travesías Magazine (MX), Horizontal MX (MEX), Il Reportage (ITL), Il Internazionalle (IT), Tierra Adentro (MEX), Contemporary Annual (USA). I am Mauricio Talamantes. I am a filmmaker working mostly for TV. In 2012 I produced, codirected, and shot NEGRO CIMARRÓN, a 30 min. documentary about Yanga, an african slave that founded the first free community in America recognized by the Spanish Crown, in the XVI century Veracruz. The work tells the story of this little known character while it reflects the situation of mexican afrodescendants and afromexican historry. NEGRO CIMARRÓN won a 3rd place prize by IMCINE (Mexico´s film institute) and INAH (Mexico´s Anthropology and History Institute). I´ve also directed commercial productions for E! Entertainment TV, ESPN, Sony Entertainment TV, and more, but my greatest passion in filmmaking are documentary movies. I would be very grateful to be part of this community of filmmakers that show the actuality of the world we live in.

Hi, I'm Santiago Casillas and i'm a multitask guy! I've been working in video production around 4-5 years. I work with a production company called With a Smile Films that resides in Mexico City. My work experience follows several things: i'm capable of operating some cameras, not all of course but i'm very passionate and i learn very fast, i'm very efficient as a soundman, also a cautious drone operator but very precise. I'm very good at editing, i have experience with sound designing and i know how to do motion graphics with after effects.
