I am a audio- and videojournalist and worked in different parts of the world for the biggest german media companies like ARD, ZDF and Deutsche Welle. I created a multimedia-report in weightlessness during a parabolic flight in france and filmed with hard working children in stonemines of kenya and about developing sports programmes in Ghana f.e. Catherine is an award-winning documentary filmmaker, a former international aid worker with experience in 18 countries across Africa, Asia, and the Americas. Her directorial debut '9at38' follows a violinist's unrelenting pursuit for a joint concert by North and South Koreans at their border and was featured on the front page of The Atlantic after screening at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival and at the United Nations in Geneva. Stephanie Foote is a photographer and filmmaker based in Nairobi, Kenya. She is especially interested in projects with a focus on wildlife conservation, ecosystem restoration and human stories about our relationship with nature. I'm a Video Journalist, formerly with ABC News in Australia. I've worked in news and current affairs for almost ten years. I'm now based in Kenya and am producing short documentaries from around East Africa; stories touching on social, political and business issues relevant to an international audience, but told through the many African perspectives and experiences. I co-produced the award-winning feature "Lisilojulikana", which tackles the stigma surrounding cerebral palsy.
