As an undergraduate of African Development Studies and Human Geography I have vast experience working in the African continent as a visual artist and storyteller. My travels have led me to the DRC, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, DRC, Sudan, Somaliland, Ghana, Morocco, Zambia, Mozambique, Djibouti and South Africa. I am a audio- and videojournalist and worked in different parts of the world for the biggest german media companies like ARD, ZDF and Deutsche Welle. I created a multimedia-report in weightlessness during a parabolic flight in france and filmed with hard working children in stonemines of kenya and about developing sports programmes in Ghana f.e. Flexibility, knowledge of human nature and technical understanding are three of my largest prejudices. Catherine is an award-winning documentary filmmaker, a former international aid worker with experience in 18 countries across Africa, Asia, and the Americas. Her directorial debut '9at38' follows a violinist's unrelenting pursuit for a joint concert by North and South Koreans at their border and was featured on the front page of The Atlantic after screening at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival and at the United Nations in Geneva. She has also produced for NatGeo, Channel4 (resulting in an FPA Media Award 2017), Channel NewsAsia, and others. A graduate of Yale University and Harvard Kennedy School, she currently splits her time between Nairobi (base), Seoul, and NYC.

Stephanie Foote is a photographer and filmmaker based in Nairobi, Kenya. She is especially interested in projects with a focus on wildlife conservation, ecosystem restoration and human stories about our relationship with nature. Examples of her past projects include photographing the critically important work of rangers on the frontline of wildlife conservation in Kyrgyzstan, documenting endemic species in the Galapagos Archipelago, filming the rescue and rehabilitation of European hedgehogs and photographing the wonderful diversity of urban wildlife in Vienna. I am a filmmaker based in Nairobi, Kenya. I have been making films, TV series and shorts in East Africa since 2012. I co-produced the award-winning feature "Lisilojulikana", which tackles the stigma surrounding cerebral palsy. It has screened throughout Kenya and is currently being prepped for release in Tanzania and Malawi. I shot, directed and edited the Kenyan cycling team competing in the week-long Tour of Rwanda, producing daily round-ups of each stage for broadcast on TV. I have produced two series of the "News Just In", currently screening on iflix.

Clara Wetzel is a filmmaker and media artist. She graduated from the national film school of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Her directed works include short narrative films, documentaries, educational and ethnographic films. Her work with NGO´s and educational institutions have the goal to place people and their narrative at the forefront, not only inspire people to act but it can also give them a way to put this to use afterwards.
