I served in the Marine Corps for 8 years (Combat Camera), where I received a number of awards for my work in broadcast journalism and other longer format projects. After the Marine Corps, I started editing for NBC Network News in Washington, D.C. I have a bachelor's degree in digital filmmaking and video production (graduated in 2014). I also freelance for PBS Newshour and work on personal projects with my own company, Triple Dynamix Productions, LLC. I have done work for the Department of Transportation, Department of Education, Congressional members and more. I'm an experienced shooter with ENG, DSLR, and other Prosumer cameras. Sarah Nelson is an award winning independent filmmaker. She is a Director and Editor at Constant Movement Cinema. She completed and received a B.A. in Philosophy from Salisbury University in 2005 and an M.A. in Film and Video from American University in 2013. Previously she worked for National Geographic Channel as an Associate Producer before setting out on her own to become a freelance filmmaker. She currently lives in Baltimore, Maryland with her husband Thomas Huggins, who she frequently collaborates with, as he is the Director of Photography on many of their projects. Hello! I'm a freelance video Producer/Editor based in Washington, DC. Most recently I was a Producer/Editor with National Geographic creating short-form documentaries for several National Geographic platforms. My work has been recognized by the National Magazine Awards, the White House News Photographers Association and the Society for News Design. Josh Davidsburg is an award-winning broadcast journalist, documentary filmmaker and 2001 Merrill College alumnus. Following his education, Josh started his career at WMDT in Salisbury; three years later, he moved to Fort Myers, Florida, where he worked for NBC-2 WBBH for two years. He then returned home to work for WBAL in Baltimore and Maryland Public Television, where he reported for two years. His first feature-length documentary Queen of the Capital screened at film festivals across the country and has been picked up for distribution. Josh also teaches documentary and broadcast journalism as a full-time lecturer at the University of Maryland, College Park, Philip Merrill College of Journalism. He is currently in pre-production for his next feature film.

Sarah is a PhD-trained wildlife biologist and award-winning producer with extensive experience in broadcast and digital filmmaking, from development through post-production. She has traveled the globe documenting a wide variety of wildlife, ranging from golden eagles to hedgehogs. A lifelong animal-lover, Sarah decided to combine her passion for nature, travel, and storytelling into a career in wildlife filmmaking at an early age. After earning a BSc in Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology from the University of California, Davis, and a PhD in Animal Behavior from the University of Queensland, Sarah moved to the D.C. area to begin a career at National Geographic, where she most recently served as Supervising Producer for the magazine's video team.

Hi there, I'm Tamer Shaaban. I am a Filmmaker and a UX Designer. The cross between technology and film is what keeps me up at night. Emmanuel Benhamou has worked with grassroots civil rights activists in the Middle East for over a decade. He studied the region in graduate school at Georgetown's School of Foreign Service, and pursued policy work at the House Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Department of Defense. Yet when uprisings emerged across the Arab world, he decided his time and energies would better be spent outside of government, pursuing an independent project. In summer of 2012, Emmanuel Benhamou recruited a liberal Syrian dissident, Ammar Abdulhamid, and a fellow filmmaker, Larry Herskowitz, to travel to the region with him. Together they set out to give an activist's perspective on the tragedy unfolding in Syria.

Roxanne R Campbell is a visual artist, native of Kingston, Jamaica, raised in Brooklyn, New York. Campbell as a MFA in Experimental and Documentary Arts from Duke University and a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art, concentration cinematography, from the University of Virginia. Her documentary work is often observational and explores the representation of African and Afro-Caribbean culture and identity, by counter-framing accepted narratives of the African Diaspora in the Americas. Her project Color Bar, is an interview-driven documentary project that examines concepts of race and masculinity in relation to Black identity - in particular, labels and stereotypes associated with skin tone.
