4 reviewsEunice is a producer/director based in New York City, and a recipient of Tribeca Film Institute’s All-Access Grant, Chicken & Egg Pictures Accelerator Lab Grant, and ITVS Diversity Development Fund. Given her background as a former broadcast producer, Eunice Lau has a propensity toward telling stories concerning social justice. Her short film "Through the Fire" was a finalist at the 2013 Student Academy Awards, while her feature "A-Town Boyz” which chronicles the struggle of Asian American youth growing up in America's South received the Spike Lee Fellowship. With her training in narrative filmmaking, she seeks to bring a cinematic form to documentary films to evoke visceral emotions in audience. "Accept the Call" is a continuum of her exploration on the definition of the American identity and capturing the journey of the immigrant. She is a Storyhunter since 2016, working for clients such as Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
