Chris Manley studied anthropology and theater in college. He views anthropology as the study of the human condition from the outside and theater as that study from within. After college Chris became enamored with the way a camera could tell a story and highlight specific aspects of life. He has always enjoyed a lighter take on life. He leans toward finding the comedy in existence. He started out his visual storytelling career as a writer and performer. He then began learning how to shoot and edit and started his own production company, Bankrukt Productions, specializing in comedic storytelling. Bankrukt recently completed a feature-length film that combines documentary and narrative storytelling. Chris is excited about projects that highlight similarities across cultures.

Hello there, my name is Krysti Sabins and I am a photographer, videographer, and all around explorer. I have always been interested in sharing unique perspectives and causes I am passionate about. On my own, I began a YouTube video series entitled "Unboring Exploring" with the intention of sharing my hiking and outdoor adventures with friends, family, and beyond. The series allows me to share my experiences so others can appreciate what I personally find important while becoming more aware of the natural world. I was recently successful in funding a Kickstarter for the series, raising money for new camera equipment. I am a digital journalist + video producer, also Adjunct Professor of Digital Media at the Columbia Journalism School. I also work for mobile video startup Videolicious helping train newbie video producers on how to tell good video stories with smartphones. I'm most interested in telling non-narrated character-driven stories about people or things on a small scale. I once spent two days following a college freshman from West Virginia through her first trip to NYC, to compete in the muggle Quidditch (yeah, like Harry Potter) World Cup. It was awesome. I also have aspirations to work on a bigger project with more sweeping scope, dealing with an important social justice issue like poverty, class or education. I enjoy doing work that aims to educate the public or inform people of issues that are not being covered by the media. Social issues and environmental issues are my favorite, though I have tackled other topics. My educational background is in film production, journalism and psychology. These areas were chosen because of my interest in the human condition. As a result of my background, I can and do create a variety of content (i.e. videos, photos, audio slideshows, etc.). I feel it is important to know what topic is best explored by which medium and as someone who has explored a variety of mediums, I know how to best utilize my resources (i.e. interviews, images, audio, etc.) to develop a story that is both compelling and informative.

I've been a freelance videographer/editor and multimedia journalist for six years. My videos have appeared in The New York Times/Local and The Guardian and my audio pieces have aired on WBAI in New York and WBEZ in Chicago. The first short documentary I produced, directed and edited, The Invisibles, was at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner. Ultimately I want to give viewers a look into worlds they're not familiar with while giving a voice to people who have not traditionally had access to media outlets. I shoot (primarily with a Canon 7D and edit on Final Cut Pro X. Mauricio Gonzalez-Aranda is a documentary filmmaker based in Brooklyn, NY.
