António Morais| Bragança, Portugal, 1985. Director of photography, cinematographer, photographer and university professor. He is a guest member of the Associação de Imagem Portuguesa, a Independent Certified Expert (ICE) of Sony and Fujinon Ambassador. Master in Production and Directing at the Instituto Politécnico do Porto and Graduate in Sound and Image at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa. He also specialized in Professional Photography at the Instituto Português de Fotografia. Since the beginning of his academic career he has been part in several shooting teams in numerous short films, films, documentaries and TV shows as Director of photography. He is part of Sony's ICE trainers platform and he is a teacher of vídeo, lighting and cinematography at IPF and Cineworkshops in Porto. He teaches curricular units related to lighting and cinematography at IPP for Bachelor and Master degree. He was a professor at the IPB in the 2009-2010 school year. From 2010 to 2012 he taught cinematography at the SAE Institute in Amman, Jordan. From 2009-2014 he collaborated with UCP, as professor of curricular units related to photography. From the Brazilian Amazonia and refugee camps in Jordan to my neighbourhood: I'm a storyhunter. Independent Journalist since 2005, director, writer, radio and video reporter. I graduated Kyiv University of Theatre, Cinema and TV as a TV-director. Then I switched to advertising agencies and work there as a creative copywriter for couple of years. When Maidan revolution has started I shot documentary about Maidan in Kiev and then during 2014-2015 was working with foreign media in the war zone of East Ukraine as fixer, cameraman and editor in field (Bild, Spiegel, ARTE and others). I hold a bachelor's Degree in Film and a Master in Motion Graphics Design. During my career I have work for clients such as Coca-Cola, Chevrolet, Paramount Comedy and Sony. I’m an expert in: After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator. I also have very good skills in Cinema 4D creating 3d geometric shapes animations and mographs . I normally combine my work as motion graphic artist with video editing, using Premiere or Final Cutto integrate my animation in the videos I’m creating. I also have expert knowledge of different camera workflows (Sony, Alexa, Red, DSLR) and I'm willing to keep up to date with new softwares, codecs and techniques. I’m originally from Spain but I’ve also worked as a motion graphic artist in many other countries like: Italy, India and Ecuador Although Spanish is my mother tongue I have professional working proficiency in English I’m culturally adept and am accustomed to working with many different personalities. I’m very responsive and detail oriented. I love to learn and improve with every project I get involved with. In my spare time I love to play the guitar and paint.
