Shiyu is a female independent filmmaker who originally from Yunnan, China. She is in her second year of MFA at American University right now. She graduated from Assumption University of Thailand in 2012, majored in finance and marketing. During the school time, Shiyu works as graduate assistant for professors on campus, she also works part-time at Academic Multimedia Service department in American University. Since summer of 2014, Shiyu started work as an intern at Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Culture Heritage. She mainly in charge of producing and editing pieces about Chinese traditional culture. Thierry Humeau is a director of photography and licensed pilot, drone owner & operator. In the late 80s, he started as a photojournalist with Sigma Photo Agency in Paris. A few years later, Thierry moved to the US, migrated to TV & Film production and launched Télécam Films located in Washington DC. He has traveled around the globe for often, difficult and challenging assignments covering current affairs, humanitarian, education and development issues.
