My name is Mario De Armas, I’m a director, director of photography, editor, producer. I went to University at New World School of the Arts where I have been asked back to do talks on my documentary series The Creative Influence and how I made it go viral. I studied Graphic Design, Photography and Film-making. I was poached in my junior year by Univision where I designed their front-end website design and photography for their web portals. From there I went on to work freelance with several advertising agencies such as Ogilvy, CPB, Sapient, Chandelier, Bridger Conway, Pier 59 Studio, Sandbox Studio, Totem Creative, Sagmeister & Walsh, Pentagram & Barbarian where my skills in art direction, photography and film-making were put to use on campaigns for San Pellegrino, IBM, Cover FX, True Religion, Tom Ford, TDK, KIND, Rebecca Minkoff, Lo & Sons, Thaddeus O’Neil, Timo Weiland, Duncan Quinn, Majestic Properties, Spring Moves, Vossen Wheels & Gilt Groupe.
