Ensar Tekin, born in 1980, Turkey, studied journalism, before turning to a profession in journalism. From 2001-2003 he worked as a Reporter and cameraman assistant in AP (Associated Press) and TRT İstanbul. From 2005 to 2007 he worked as a correspondent and occasionally as a photographer in Bursa,he focused solely on photography and articles, working on Police and courthouse cases. Born in Aleppo, Kareem Abeed was a recent Electronics and Communications Engineering university graduate when war broke out in Syria in 2011. He began documenting and sharing the news of local atrocities with his mobile phone and camera and soon found himself at the center of a “Citizen Journalism” movement in the Middle East, reporting from the front lines of violence and conflict in Syria. In 2013, he founded the Aleppo Media Center (AMC), a team of dedicated news correspondents who regularly provide stories and footage from within Syria for such major media outlets as CNN and the BBC. Not limiting himself to news, Kareem collaborated with his AMC colleagues to produce the 2017/18 Emmy-, Peabody- and Sundance Grand Jury Prize-winning feature documentary, Last Men in Aleppo. The film has further earned Abeed Oscar and Independent Spirit Award nominations for “Best Documentary Feature,” as well as the International Documentary Association’s Courage Under Fire Award. Dr Başak Ozan Özparlak is an assistant professor and researcher of IT Law at Özyeğin University Faculty of Law. Ahmed SeifEleslam Dewidar (Saif Dewidar), Egyptian national, descended from a Mamluk family. Journalist and researcher in political sociology I finished my secondary education in Yemen in 2009, and I lived there for 15 years, roaming its cities and villages.
