2 reviewsZac Gooch is a storyteller. He doesn't use a pen or paper. He uses raw moments and moving pictures to weave a tale that can only be told through the lens. At the age of 17, Zac started shooting at WVIR in Charlottesville, VA. During his time there, he learned the basics of photography. He covered hurricanes, tornadoes, and floods. He was there when the Queen of England came to visit Virginia. He also traveled to New Orleans to cover the anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. In 2008, Zac decided to take a job at KTUU in Anchorage, AK. While working in Alaska Zac had the opportunity to travel and cover major news events like global warming near the Arctic Circle and Governor Sarah Palin's Vice Presidential bid. At the end of 2010 Zac moved with his wife to Bakersfield, CA and took a job as a staff photographer at KBAK. While working in California,Zac helped produce a half hour special called When Kern Burned. It won an Edward R Murrow, NPPA Best Documentary runner up, and two Emmy a
