Thierry Humeau is a director of photography and licensed pilot, drone owner & operator. In the late 80s, he started as a photojournalist with Sigma Photo Agency in Paris. A few years later, Thierry moved to the US, migrated to TV & Film production and launched Télécam Films located in Washington DC. He has traveled around the globe for often, difficult and challenging assignments covering current affairs, humanitarian, education and development issues. His work can be seen worldwide in award winning television programs on networks such as National Geographic TV and Al Jazeera Media Network. He also consults with Sony and AVID Technology on the development and testing of large sensor cameras and file based editing products. Josh Davidsburg is an award-winning broadcast journalist, documentary filmmaker and 2001 Merrill College alumnus. Following his education, Josh started his career at WMDT in Salisbury; three years later, he moved to Fort Myers, Florida, where he worked for NBC-2 WBBH for two years. He then returned home to work for WBAL in Baltimore and Maryland Public Television, where he reported for two years. His first feature-length documentary Queen of the Capital screened at film festivals across the country and has been picked up for distribution. She has traveled the globe documenting a wide variety of wildlife, ranging from golden eagles to hedgehogs. A lifelong animal-lover, Sarah decided to combine her passion for nature, travel, and storytelling into a career in wildlife filmmaking at an early age. Emmanuel Benhamou has worked with grassroots civil rights activists in the Middle East for over a decade. He studied the region in graduate school at Georgetown's School of Foreign Service, and pursued policy work at the House Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Department of Defense. Yet when uprisings emerged across the Arab world, he decided his time and energies would better be spent outside of government, pursuing an independent project. In summer of 2012, Emmanuel Benhamou recruited a liberal Syrian dissident, Ammar Abdulhamid, and a fellow filmmaker, Larry Herskowitz, to travel to the region with him. Together they set out to give an activist's perspective on the tragedy unfolding in Syria.
