Victor Moriyama is a Brazilian photojournalist based in São Paulo covering South America and the Amazon rainforest for The New York Times. His works are based on a humanist photograph committed to documenting the processes of violence that prevail in social and environmental relations in Brazil. Agrarian conflicts, deforestation and conservation of tropical forests and their biodiversity, genocide of indigenous populations, acceleration of climate change are themes that have guided his photographic production in recent years. Concerned about the scarcity of in-depth reports on conflicts in the Amazon, Victor created in 2019 the project @historiasamazonicas, a community of Latin American photographers committed to documenting contemporary processes taking place in the Amazon and defining the present. Emiliano Goyeneche is a filmmaker and journalist. Since 2010 he divides his work between Argentina and Brazil. He worked for some media such as Folha de S.Paulo, Editora Abril and Revista Trip. In the latter he wrote a series of audiovisual chronicles called "Surtos Líricos". His texts have been interpreted by artists such as Ney Matogrosso, Criolo, Mika Lins, Maria Ribeiro and Teresa Cristina. In 2020, he won the "Itaú Cultural, art as respite" award with the play "The city is never empty". In 2021, she participated in the Film Program at Torcuato Di Tella University. In 2022, he won a grant to attend the New Narratives program for emerging artists and filmmakers. He is currently developing the feature film "Campamento Vespucio", selected in the Laboratorio del Festival de Cine de las Alturas and winner of a development grant from the Fondo Nacional de las Artes. In Brazil, he has directed films for brands such as Nike, Itaú, Meta, Nissan and Gol.

Fernanda Frazão is a film director, documentarist, screenwriter, and documentary photographer. With over 12 years of experience, she works across different media platforms as a creative outlet to tell stories. Throughout her career, she has traveled the world creating visual content for major Brazilian airlines, ventured into various parts of the Amazon, directed and photographed some of the most interesting people in Brazil. Through a naturalistic aesthetic, she seeks inspiring and authentic stories in everyday life. In photography, her work "Amazônia Lado B" (2017) has received several awards, including the renowned Lensculture Street Photography, and has been exhibited at the Museum of Image and Sound (MIS) in São Paulo and the Voies Off Rencontres D'Arles 2018 exhibition in France. In cinema, she is a director and screenwriter of "Chega de Fiu Fiu" (2018), a documentary about harassment against women in public spaces in Brazil, nominated for the Grand Prize of Brazilian Cinema, and "Projeta Quebrada" (2023). For TV, she directed the series "#DeixaEla" (2023), for the GNT channel. She also directed the series "Facebook Latam Season" (2021), about diversity, equity, and inclusion in Latin American businesses, as well as the digital content for the series "Manhãs de Setembro" (2021), from Prime Video, and "Segunda Chamada" (2019), from Globoplay, and the feature film "Marighella" (2019), directed by Wagner Moura. I am an independent filmmaker from Sao Paulo, Brazil. Graduated in Cinema and Social Sciences, post graduated in Anthropology/Brazilian Studies. Since 2008, I make documentaries for TV, web and cinema. My films surround themes as human rights, poverty, and popular culture. I love stories and I love the people who have a great one to tell. But is hard to explain so I prefer to talk about the short documentary I will shoot in june. Me and a very small team are going to travel to some small cities in my state to film old guys that live in bars,we see that as a cultural thing here. In our research we discovery that most of tham like to talk about love stores and give advices, so we are talking about that. the documentary is named "good advice`' and show this ma ( and woman) talking about there life. I think this explain I like to hunt for the normal people, the every day people and they great histories. About my life I think that is very important for my documentarist head, that Im graduated in history before working with video, and this gave me a different perspective about culture and about research to. I am a 28 year old Brazilian who works with film making. I have studied in a german/brazilian high school where I developed a strong interest towards european history and culture. I have a bachelor degree in communication with emphasis in Radio and Television at Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado (FAAP), one of the top ranked universities for the area in Latin America. My career in television started at 20 years of age when I was selected to work as a trainee for MTV Brazil, a place which I proudly consider to be my second university. During seven years I was able to develop my creativity in making TV shows of all kinds, from musical documentaries to auditorium live shows, and eventually became a TV show director and writer. Sequentially, in 2014 I worked as a director at TV Cultura. Right now I'm looking for new oportunities.

I'm a photographer and filmmaker based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. But i also edit movies, compose the soundtrack and write journalism articles. I passed the last 7 years studying photography in all the ways as possible for telling a story with respect and emotion to bring the true for certain groups about their lives, and in the last 3 years I started making movies. I'm the co-founder at an independent audiovisual producer called Mangueio. We make documentaries, videoclips, editorial photography and journalistic reports about the social issues that increases everyday in Sao Paulo with the indigenous community, with the peripheral regions, in Crackland, and with people in situations of social vulnerability. Maurício Fidalgo, 1989, was born in Rio Grande do Sul state, south of Brazil, but had lived in six different states. Graduated in the Bahia State University on the Multimedia Journalism course in 2014, In 2014 moved from the countryside to Rio de Janeiro, there had his pictures published in big national and international media, also collaborates with Vice News Brazil. He has been selected to be part of Abril Journalism Course, one of the three biggest courses in journalism on Brazil, part of Abril publisher owner of the second biggest magazine in the world, Veja. In 2016 he started to work in Globo Television, 3rd biggest TV Media in the world, as a still and portrait photographer. I'm a journalist and a documentary filmmaker. For 2,5 years I've worked in a radio station and there I developed a project of documentaries on radio based on oral history. Then, I've worked for 1,5 years in a local television channel, producing/presenting a weekly television program and report series. But I'd like to join Journalism and Art. That's why I started a major in Films studies while I was already working as a producer and/or director of documentaries and television programs. I've already worked as a press officer, events producer, Community Manager and Content Director (in a brazilian startup). Despite this, all my jobs are connected to people and content. My biggest quality is being a life history hunter and I have a huge list of people with intersting stories. That's whay I chose Journalism as a profession, and documentary as a passion.

I'am a former journalist and a lover of visual storytelling. I worked five years as TV reporter for ESPN in Brazil where I had the oportunity to cover some of the biggest sports events of the globe as the Fifa World Cup for an example. I've always been connected with action sports too. Reporting about surf, skate, bmx, skydiving I've improved my video techniques. During my experience in ESPN my main occupation was working on special reports and documentaries about the human and social aspects envolving sports. And this is what a like the most. To tell stories about people, cultures, countries. Religion, politics and enviromment. That's why I came to Storyhunter. I'am also developing a career in fictional filmmaking. Luciano Onça studied history at the University of São Paulo, worked as a teacher and manager of public policy at the Ministry of Culture of Brazil. Began producing documentaries 3 years ago. His output is made in partnership with the Publica (www.apublica.org), Agencia de Jornalismo Investigativo in São Paulo and is focused on the theme of human rights. Immigration, labor rights and cultural production are his main subjects of interest. Four of his short films were shown by Canal Futura TV and were selected for major film festivals such as Tiradentes, Visões Periféricas, Femina and Entretodos de Direitos Humanos de São Paulo, which won the award for Best Educational Film Short with "100 % Boliviano, mano.”

Paula, a native of São Paulo and founder of Sam Ka Pur Filmes, holds a bachelor's degree in Audiovisual from ECA-USP and a Master's in Fine Arts from the Korea National University of Arts. She was the only Brazilian representative to date in the L'Atelier program at the Cannes Film Festival. Her first feature-length fiction film, Butterfly Diaries (2022), introduced the subject of anorexia nervosa to national cinematography. In 2023 Paula was a director and script and production consultant on the K-drama "Além do Guarda Roupa" (My Magic Closet, 2023, HBOmax/Warner), the most-watched national fiction series on the Max streaming service in 2023. Paula has her own production company, Sam Ka Pur Films, that offers audiovisual technical services and production of commercial content.

Gabriel Villas-Bôas is a photographer and producer, born and lives in São Paulo. He graduated in cinema and is now CEO of the production company Maica Filmes.
