Mikel Konate (Spain, 1982) is an award-winning independent video and photo-journalist currently based in Madrid and working worldwide. Konate has been involved in the media industry for 20 years and began working as a video-journalist in 2005 for local Spanish outlets covering political issues, social movements, and breaking news. Born in Caracas, Venezuela, and raised in Mexico for 12 years, Andrea Carolina Lopez is a graduate from the Film mention of the Escuela de Artes de la Universidad Central de Venezuela (UCV) and the Curso General de Guión at the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica ( CCC) in Mexico. She has written and directed around a dozen TV documentary reports for public television of her country, and has also produced and directed two short films and two documentaries medium-length films made independently, in which she has participated in photography and editing. She has also making corporate videos and write TV series chapters for TV. Winner of several national and international awards for her medium lenght documentary films: “Los Olvidados de Clemente” (2004) and “La Cuarta Gracia” (2011), Andrea has worked as an assistant and writer for soap operas on national and international channels in Mexico. She has taught screenwriting and documentary at the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences at UNAM and Cinefilias. She currently serves as Academic Coordinator of the Post Graduate Course in Documentary Film from producer and distributor company Artegios. In addition to her audiovisual activity, Andrea has taken several courses of English at Hamilton School of Indiana, at The New School University, Columbia University, and the Park Slope Armory YMCA, among others. She writes stories, academic essays and encyclopedic entries, in which she has also received awards. Actually, she lives in Madrid, Spain.

I like to do both, small and big projects. Small crews give me the possibility of a more spontaneous approach, in fact, I quite enjoy filming by myself, with my DSLR, I achieve a look based in playing with my camera that would be impossible with a traditional crew; but I also enjoy team based environments, where the original idea gets transformed by the collaboration of different members of the team BIOGRAPHY Mario Aranguren, an audiovisual creator and producer from Madrid with French roots, is known for his ability to maximize efficiency without compromising quality, establishing himself on the international stage. In recent years, Mario has worked with a variety of notable clients: With Amazon, he has built a solid relationship, producing and directing over 30 videos. For the Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID), he has been a steady resource as a director and editor, standing out on projects like "Ciudad Y Salud". With BBC Reel, he directed "The Handsome Priest" which gained widespread recognition for its notable dissemination and audience interaction. Mario is currently in post-production for "The Great Wall", a short film that tells the story of a Chinese spy in Ávila where love and artificial intelligence intertwine. It will soon begin its presentation at international festivals. His dedication was recognized with a Fulbright scholarship to study at the New York Film Academy, where he later served as a teacher. He has also gained extensive professional experience in Madrid, London, and Senegal, contributing to his global perspective and hands-on expertise in the field. Over the years, he has combined work for others with the self-production of documentaries and short films. This direct experience has provided him with a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of audiovisual production not only as a director and producer but also as a technician.

I am a multimedia journalist located in Madrid, Spain and Erbil, Iraqi Kurdistan. As a reporter I am comfortable producing, shooting and editing my own stories. I love storytelling. IRLANDA TAMBASCIO WAINE (Eire) is a director, writer, film editor and comic book author born in Caracas, Venezuela, in 1977, and now a Spanish national, based in Madrid. After graduating in Image and Sound from the Universidad Complutense, she began work as a film editor and has since edited over 200 audiovisual works, from series, mass audience reality shows, music video, short films with successful runs at festivals, as well as documentaries like "Pirates and Dragonflies"(Honorable Mention at La Seminci, Valladolid); "La cabeza de Joseph" -directed by Alicia Luna-; or "I decide. The Train of Freedom", together with Teresa Font -selected at the 62nd San Sebastian International Film Festival. As a director, she debuted in 2007 with her short film "Essence", and in 2009 she directed a "Making of "about the baroque opera "La Parténope" for the Ministry of Culture. In 2011 she shot her second short film "El Regalo", produced, written and directed by Irlanda and praised by Javier Fesser. She has won the 10th Award for Proyecto Corto Canal Plus + Festival International Film Festival Cinema Jove for "Atocha 70". This film received more than a dozen awards at Spanish and international festivals, including the first prize of the audience at Corto España 2013. In 2019, she directed the short film "Equals", nominated for the About Film Award at the Notodofilmfest and finalist in the I Festival MICRO. That same year, her fiction project "Rara(s) Avis", was selected for the Coofilm Residence. In 2020, she released the video clip "Mike Hunt" for the band Patio Rosemary, reviewed by LOS40. As a comic book author, she debuted with "Aves Metropolitanas", a bestiary set on the Madrid Metro (Pub. Alianza); then came "Adelaide & Coco" (Pub. Grijalbo), a graphic novel about the daily life of a young urbanite and her cat, which has been widely acclaimed by the media and was recommended by critics (PlayGround, The Huffington Post and Forges, among others). Her third book is a group effort co-written and co-illustrated with Syrian women refugees in Lebanon, called "The Women of Aaramoun"(NGO Urdaspain). Its prologue was written by the project's godmother, Rosa Montero, who called this book "a miracle". Her fourth book: "Damned Cats (a catalogue of feline souls)", has been published by Alianza Editorial this year and her last work are the illustration of "Insolation" a novel written by Emilia Pardo Bazán (Ed. Since the moment I started this adventure, called Imago Bubo, I have decided to follow three diferents ways that define myself: 1) Photography. Photo as a medium of static communication about the diferent elements that we found on our territory (buildings, places, people, relations, spaces, happenings...), and also photo for all kind of events related with social activities or documentary photography (for instance; street photography). 2) Video. Video as a reflex of the intangible cultural heritage. I was born in Spain, but moved with my family to cold Germany when I was 13. Cultural differences started to be a subject that cauught my attention. With my first salary I bought a video camera, not to shoot me having sex with my girlfriend (as my father said) but to record everything around me. I was in Munich with my small homecamera when the G8 met there in, so I looked for the best positions to film the demonstrators, next to the broadcasting agencies. Years later I graduated in Audiovisual Communication and started shooting shortmovies with friends. I have filmed and edited feature length documentaries and also small pieces about singular matters. My last project has been a collective film held for 9 months in a small village in the south of Spain. I have been travelling to a few countries(always with my camera), and just love to sit and listen to people´s stories about their lives, problems or whatever is in their heads. I try to get my tools, listen to their message, compact it in a form of small video and send it to the world. I think it is necessary to transform their experiences of the people into digital, so everyone can listen!

Video, words, picture, every media is good for me if let me said what i have to say, if it help me to show to the word the people stories, the life of those who believe are they are not important but are the ones that makes the world our world. I see stories everywhere, on the streets, on the small towns and hidden between the buildings of the big cities... New ways of people to communicate through arts, new or remain problems that affect the most needed persons, or those small, strange little things that makes a town that town or a city that city. I'm obsessed with observe the world and I want to show that world to everyone... I'm just looking for a place, a platform that help me to show my work.
