Hello, I'm Kyo Umareta from Indonesia. I have always been captivated by the power of videos as a medium to tell stories and make a lasting impact on audiences. I strongly believe that there are countless inspiring stories waiting to be shared with the world. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with organizations such as WHO Indonesia, Oxfam in Indonesia, and Oxfam Australia. Through their projects, I have been able to unfold the remarkable stories of resilient individuals who possess the drive to make a difference or overcome challenges. In addition to my work with these impactful organizations, I have also ventured into creating videos for private resorts in remote areas of Indonesia, such as Seed Resorts in Rote and Cove Eco Resorts in Raja Ampat. Every shot I capture in my work is purposeful, aiming to shape and deliver compelling stories. I firmly believe that a strong narrative lies at the heart of what people yearn for when they watch a video.

1 review"I appreciate that we live in a global community, where far more unites us than divides us." My name is Bud Wichers. Although I am based in the Netherlands and work as a freelance video journalist and photographer, I was born in one of the poorest slums in Indonesia. My birth parents sought to give me a better life than they had by putting me up for adoption in a hospital in the capital. Eventually, I landed in an orphanage just outside of Jakarta and was adopted by a lovely Dutch couple – my parents. They gave me the chance to grow and encouraged me to become anything I wanted. With the freedom and opportunity to decide on my own terms, in 1999 I became a photo and video journalist and documentary filmmaker. Since I learned first-hand what a difference it can make to be given opportunities, I strive to give others a platform to tell their stories. I appreciate that we live in a global community, where far more unites us than divides us. Our joys and sorrows are inextricably linked. That is why personal narratives are so powerful in shedding light on and humanizing events. My photos and videos for Agence France-Presse and Thomson Reuters Corporation have been featured on CNN, BBC, and Al Jazeera. I have worked in high-risk areas to capture stories that are of global significance, including Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan and I have also travelled to other hotspots, including Venezuela, Colombia, Libya, Tunisia, Egypt, Ukraine, Israel and the Palestinian territories (including Gaza). Whenever I travel to Indonesia, I volunteer for the Mijn Roots Foundation to help connect adopted children with their birth parents. This cause is very close to my heart. Mission Guided by my belief in the power of each individual to improve their broader community and create a better world, my mission is to connect people through sharing life experiences and stories. Using photos, I aim to foster understanding and bridge cultural and geographic divides. Are you are interested in viewing my portfolio? Then please visit my Instagram account at upclose_with_budi

Rodney Louis Vincent is renowned as a guy who will make it happen. He is an authority on the enigmatic art of making the impossible, possible. That may seem like it’s a pretty bold claim, but when you’ve worked with some of the world’s top tier talent from the likes of Quad, Anonymous Content, Hungry Man, Smuggler, ACNE and Motion Theory (amongst many others) and on some truly huge projects, you’re entitled to a little hyperbole. As part of the brain’s trust behind the inception of Seven Sunday’s Rodney has always aimed well above the mark, and it’s that willingness to push the boundaries while insisting on the highest possible standards that has made Seven Sunday Films into one of the leading production houses in the region.
