I'm a documentary filmmaker of over 15 years, that seeks to lend my skills to those that are making change, but who's voices may not be heard. Through my lens, these stories can be shared with the rest of the world and hopefully, access the needed funds, assistance, support, or recognition they need/deserve to make the change that is needed. My projects have taken me from Afghanistan to Haiti to Wall Street to The Rockaways after Hurricane Sandy. In all these stories, there is one common thread and that is hope.....hope for a better world and a belief in humanity, that a better world IS possible. In addition to social justice documentaries, I also like to focus on character driven stories...about unique characters -- that by their personalities, lifestyles, or art, are impacting this world or their community, making it a better, more beautiful and inspiring place.

I am a filmmaker, producer, designer, musician, and art educator from Argentina based in New York City. After my graduation from the Faculty of Architecture in 2000, I moved to Barcelona, Spain, where I graduated with a Master’s Degree in Film Production from the University of Barcelona. In 2004, I co-founded Colectivo Piloto with the aim of promoting culture and education through the use of audiovisual resources and media technologies. Since then, I have been honored to work with several NGOs, institutions and governmental agencies, including Save the Children, Red Cross, Oxfam Intermón, and the Barcelona City Council. The projects I have been designing and supervising over these years have involved the community and have had a tremendous impact on its development. Since 2013, I have been living in New York City where I am experiencing the best ideas in film, music and arts.

I like telling hidden, character-driven stories with a video camera. I have a passion for people and a dedication to excellence. I've been doing journalism since I was 10 years old and there's not enough I could learn about the art of telling stories. After graduating from the University of Alabama with a degree in telecommunication and film with a focus on sports broadcasting, I decided to share my passion with future generations as a 2013 Teach For America corps member where I taught 7th grade for two years. I am a Master's of Journalism Candidate at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University where I am grateful to be able to focus on documentary storytelling. I started developing my storytelling skills throughout pre-K and elementary school, writing about everything from intergalactic battles to a party at the Louvre (narrated by a Monet painting). As the son and grandson of photographers, I also developed a deep interest in imagery and throughout high school, college, and the years following I merged the two, producing my own films. Tom Bentey is a Jersey boy made good. Tom grew up in Edison, New Jersey and spent his summers at the Jersey Shore. He studied English at Rutgers, and acted in several student films and plays. Tom’s new found passion for acting changed his path in life, as he went on to act in many Off-Broadway plays and independent films. After three years of being in front of the camera, Tom developed an interest in directing and began to write his own screenplays.Tom enrolled in the Masters of Arts program in Media Studies at The New School in New York City, to hone his newfound interest in the art and craft of filmmaking. It is at the New School, where Tom wrote, directed and starred in his first feature length film “At The Jersey Shore“. His directorial debut went on to screen at national film festivals and received international Cable VOD, iTunes, Amazon.com distribution in 2012.

Meiying is a D.C.-based freelance multimedia journalist fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Hokkien. Shawn Baldwin is a documentary filmmaker, photographer and multimedia journalist based in Berkeley, California. His work is published in The New York Times, Stern, Newsweek, Time Magazine, Vanity Fair, Bloomberg Businessweek and The New York Times Magazine. Shawn lived in the Middle East for more than a decade covering war in Iraq, revolutions in Egypt and Libya, and the growing influence of hardline Islam across the Arab world. He has worked throughout the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Europe on stories. He is the recipient of the 2016 Dorothea Lange Fellowship and has won several awards including Magazine Portrait & Personality in the Best of Photojournalism competition for his work in Afghanistan. My name is Kenneth Klemens, I am a multimedia producer and photojournalist focusing on short documentary films in the feature and news genres. Oluwaseun Babalola is a Sierra Leonean/Nigerian-American director, shooter, and producer. She began her career as video editor in digital content with brands such as Yahoo!, Macy’s, and Conde Nast, and later ventured into film production as Director of Photography and Co-Producer on the successful indie documentary, “Trichster.” Post “Trichster,” Oluwaseun has produced projects with her production company in Haiti, Botswana, Sierra Leone, Nigeria and more. Bimina is a multimedia journalist and filmaker. She works on documentaries both collaborative and independent. She also freelances for several online publications and non-profit organizations. Bimina has collaboratively produced and directed a half hour documentary “Reviving Nepal Bhasa” focusing on near extinction of culture and language of endangered community of Newars, indigenous to central Nepal. The documentary premiered at the Hoboken International Film Festival in May 2015 and has since been screened in Nepal and India. It is also selected by Queens World film festival in 2016.
