Caio Guatelli is an independent photojournalist based in New York, USA Born in São Paulo (Brazil) in 1977, he began his career in 1996, and worked for major Brazilian and international media outlets, such as Folha de S. Paulo (Brazil) and Agence France Presse. In 2008 Caio covered the Beijing's Olympic Games. Between the years 2010 and 2011, he covered Haiti's earthquake, that killed more than 200 thousand people, and the dramatic recovering process. Since 2013, Caio started reporting stories related to Amazon Rainforest environment. Besides his photography and audiovisual production, Caio has a weekly column, named "Ciclocosmo" at Folha de S. Allison Shelley is an independent documentary photographer based in Washington D.C., focused primarily on health and social justice issues as they relate to women worldwide. She is co-founder and co-director of the non-profit Women Photojournalists of Washington (WPOW), and has worked as director of photography for Education Week newspaper and staff photographer for The Washington Times. I am a New Orleans native-based photographer; but I also work out of Houston, New York, and DC. I am obsessed with portraits. It is all about the process of creating the portrait, and the story behind the portrait. The process of creating the portrait is a mark of true craftsmanship. I try to capture portraits that are honest. I often use black and white photographs to achieve that. I believe black and white photographs allow me to see; to truly see. When color is absent it is all about the architecture of the photograph; the light, the emotion, the tonality, the lines, and the shapes. It allows me to see deeper. If you prefer your photographs to be in color, that’s fine too. My priority is my client. In order to deliver the best possible product to my client, I get to know who they are, what their needs are, and what their vision is.

Michael M. Santiago is a photojournalist based in Brooklyn, New York. Santiago received his bachelor’s in fine arts at San Francisco Art Institute and a master's degree from S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. His work focuses on issues concerning people of color and their communities, from obesity and cancer to race and identity. I'm a Baltimore-based photojournalist who is available for assignment immediately and everywhere. Katherine Filaseta is an emerging filmmaker originally from South Carolina. While at Washington University in St. Louis, Katherine acted in a few student films and researched tropes of globalization in Bollywood. After graduating with a degree in International Studies, Katherine limited her involvement in film to reviewing films on her feminist blog ("Complaining About Things I Like") and podcast ("Filmi Talks"), while studying Hindi in India and teaching children performing arts. Realizing that teaching was not her true passion, she decided to enroll in a short filmmaking course at the New York Film Academy.
