Hi, I'm Peter Shea, and I have more than ten years of experience as a producer/shooter/editor in both narrative and documentary media production. My resume includes producing roles at WGBH in Boston, Maryland Public Television, New Jersey Network, and my current role as the head of video production for the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History. I am both an Emmy Award winner and Telly Award winning director, producer and editor with over 13 years of experience in the television and film industry. I'm a print reporter turned video journalist. Recently graduated from the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism and have done general assignment/breaking news work for the NY Daily News, worked as an editorial producer for a PBS documentary, worked as investigative fellow on an series about mold in NYC public housing, and produced/shot/edited my own work. Michael DeMinico is a Brooklyn-Director and Producer, specializing in cinematography and editing for short and feature documentaries. Mahala is a director and producer with Courageous Studios, the brand studio for CNN. Previously she was a video journalist working at the Denver Post from 2010-2015. In that time she had the opportunity to grow with the newspaper’s developing video department, from working on daily video and breaking news to producing both short and feature length documentaries exploring themes and issues integral to the Denver and Colorado community. Her work has been recognized by Picture of the Year International, the Heartland Chapter Emmy Awards, and the National Edward R. Murrow Awards. In 2013, she was a member of the Denver Post staff awarded a Pulitzer Prize for breaking news coverage of the Aurora Theater shooting.

I've been a freelance videographer/editor and multimedia journalist for six years. My videos have appeared in The New York Times/Local and The Guardian and my audio pieces have aired on WBAI in New York and WBEZ in Chicago. The first short documentary I produced, directed and edited, The Invisibles, was at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner. Ultimately I want to give viewers a look into worlds they're not familiar with while giving a voice to people who have not traditionally had access to media outlets. Mauricio Gonzalez-Aranda is a documentary filmmaker based in Brooklyn, NY. In 2022, he created the Bar Talk Series, an online series with over 75k followers (@bartalkseries) that features everyday conversations between New Yorkers at different bars. His directorial debut, A Word for Human (2019), premiered at CPH:DOX and screened at the U.S. National Gallery of Arts. He has also worked as a researcher, assistant editor, and production assistant on various produc- tions by the Danish company, Final Cut for Real. These projects include Oscar-nominated documentary Flee (2021), President (2021), School Shooters (2021), and Songs of Repression (2020). He’s a well-versed director, DP, and editor. As a kid in Tucson, Ben started making skate videos and 'crime dramas' with firecrackers as the gun shot sound effects. Sarah is a PhD-trained wildlife biologist and award-winning producer with extensive experience in broadcast and digital filmmaking, from development through post-production. She has traveled the globe documenting a wide variety of wildlife, ranging from golden eagles to hedgehogs. A lifelong animal-lover, Sarah decided to combine her passion for nature, travel, and storytelling into a career in wildlife filmmaking at an early age. After earning a BSc in Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology from the University of California, Davis, and a PhD in Animal Behavior from the University of Queensland, Sarah moved to the D.C. area to begin a career at National Geographic, where she most recently served as Supervising Producer for the magazine's video team.
