Ben Addelman is the director of four award winning feature documentaries. His first two films Discordia (2004) and Bombay Calling (2006) were both produced by the National Film Board of Canada and screened at dozens of festivals around the world. Bombay Calling was nominated for the 2007 Gemini Award for Best Social Political Documentary and premiered at Hot Docs. His third film Nollywood Babylon (2008), a feature documentary about Nigeria’s film industry, produced by his company AM Pictures and co-produced with the NFB, screened at Sundance Film Festival 2009 as part of the world documentary competition and continued on to other major film festivals around the world. It was broadcast on The Sundance Channel (US) and Documentary (Canada). His fourth feature documentary, Kivalina V. Exxon was released in 2012 by E1. In recent years he's made films for The New York Times, Vice, Red Bull TV, Condé Nast, Google, Audi, Ancestry, BBH and Karmarama. I'm a committed and hardworking journalist with a nose for a juicy story and the ability to deliver high-quality short films. For the last seven years I jumped head-first into one of the biggest stories of our time: the complex economic and political rise of China. In June 2008, as the gaze of the world's media was turning to Beijing and the Olympics, I took a gamble and resigned from APTN in London. Armed with a new camera, a one-way ticket to Beijing, and truckloads of enthusiasm, I set myself up as an all-shooting foreign correspondent for hire. Alex Forsey is a London based cinematographer who worked over 10 years as a lighting director for ad agencies, including Greys, Mother, and Ogilvy & Mather. This enabled him to work for brands such as Vogue, Chanel, Gucci, i-D magazine, Johnson & Johnson.
