HI, my name is Emily Harrold. I am a documentary filmmaker based in New York. I was born and raised in Orangeburg, South Carolina. My films have screened at such festivals as The Tribeca Film Festival, The Telluride Film Festival, and The Melbourne International Film Festival. Recently, my short documentary film "Reporting on The Times: The New York Times and The Holocaust" received a Student Directors Guild of America Award and was a Documentary Finalist in the 2012 Student Academy Awards. I'm a Chicagoan with a degree in journalism from the University of Illinois. I moved to Brooklyn in January 2013 to work as an assistant to former CNN/MSNBC President, Rick Kaplan. Last February I helped Mr. Kaplan launch a music news show on Fuse TV. Now I would like to pursue a more active role in journalism. I dedicated my college years to learning the many sides of video production, so I can become an effective storyteller. I learned the most outside the classroom by taking on independent projects. I discovered my passion for long-form video storytelling by producing three half-hour documentaries, one of which was produced in Turkey. I hosted, associate produced, and reported in this documentary called, "Illinois Travels to Turkey." The documentary aired on Chicago's PBS station, and it also won a Silver Pillar at the 2013 Mid-America Emmys. I can edit, write, shoot, interview, and produce, and I'm eager to improve my storytelling one story at a time.

I am documentary filmmaker and have been independently making short and feature length documentaries for almost ten years. My films have screened at numerous festivals and venues throughout the U.S. as well as internationally. I am a recipient of the Artist Fellowship Grant in Film/Video from the Connecticut Commission on Culture and Tourism and was awarded a regional Emmy nomination for my work. My strengths are in making short subject docs, having worked as a Segment Producer for syndicated television in the early part of my career. My film and video work aspires to confront social norms and stereotypes. I particularily like to make films about individuals who live non-traditional lives, are doing unusual things or see the world in way that the rest of us don't. Joe Zeitouny is a filmmaker and documentarian interested in exploring the vast world of culture and musical expression through narrative, observational documentary, and formal documentary work. He is currently a student at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a path to graduate in 2024 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in film. Within the past eight years, he has worked alongside the Boston Celtics to rebirth the Waltham High School TV broadcasting program to document the high school's basketball team, made promotional films for the Waltham Parks department to help with community engagement, and was a marketing intern for Alira Health to inform the actions the company was taking to become more environmentally friendly. He has worked on numerous documentaries independently and with a team of other like-minded creatives. During the summer of 2023, he went to Dublin, Ireland, to film a feature documentary with the Cuala Foundation to capture asylum seekers' hardships and the road to getting citizenship. He had also worked on short documentary films about the Black Lives Matter movement in Waltham, MA, and Minneapolis, MN. He has been working with UW-Milwaukee's doc/UWM to produce, direct, film, and edit shorts for companies about UW-Milwaukee alumni. Some companies that he worked with are Trek, The Brady Street Improvement District, and American Scores MKE. Tatiana McCabe embodies originality with a heart of gold. Humanitarian filmmaker by trade, half American, half Panamanian by chance, cold brew fueled ocean explorer by choice. Her international upbringing baked in a passion for exploring the far corners of the earth from an early age and she has spent most of her life telling stories from around the world. Not to brag, but she has been to 77 countries and plans to try to make it to all 195 someday. She is a self-proclaimed detail-oriented goofball who loves Super 8 film and has a soft spot for musical parodies. Make sure to ask her about the one time her music video honoring the Flight of the Conchords was aired on HBO. With a BA in filmmaking from Emerson College and an MFA in Computer Arts from The School of Visual Arts she has developed an eclectic style of storytelling that encompasses a range of mixed media that will leave you laughing or crying and wanting more. She can be found experimenting with a myriad of cameras, puppeteering on a greenscreen or getting her hands dirty with paper and glue for stop motion style creations. In other words, she’s always looking for new angles to tell a colorful story. In 2013 Tatiana founded her own production studio SecondHeart, whose work has been recognized by film festivals and publications around the world, such as the Adobe Design Achievement Awards, Imagine Science Film Festival, Brooklyn Vegan and The Village Voice to name a few. SecondHeart has worked with clients such as Unicef, United Nations, Smithsonian Channel and most recently, her all time favorite modern dance group Pilobolus! Her creative direction portfolio ranges from being playful and comedic to thought provoking and emotionally stirring, often focusing on giving a voice to the underrepresented. In addition to running SecondHeart, Tatiana was also at the helm as Creative Director for Nomadic Learning where she directed and produced dozens of motivational and educational animated explainers for five years. Hi, Been working with cameras since I was a kid. Began working professionally with cameras in 2007 and have been expanding my knowledge and passion ever since. Starting in the extreme sports documentation side of things, I've slowly expanded through weddings for a short while and landed on promotional video production. Working for several years in a marketing department for a ski mountain, I learned how to work in harsh conditions and with a variety of people and goals. The majority of my experience is in one or two-man operation but have been dabbling in larger productions in more recent years. I am a 4K/HD videographer and Adobe Premiere editor located in Boston. My production package includes the Sony full-frame FX3 v2 cinema camera and the Sony A7Riv full frame mirrorless. All of my lighting is LED and includes floods, fresnels and accent instruments made by Intellytech, Lowell and Dracast. My audio package is based on Sennheiser, Tram, Azden and Zoom products. In keeping with today's production standards, I've invested in several mobile camera devices: a gimbal, an Edelkrone slider and tripod dollies. I have been working independently in video production since 1997. The kinds of productions I have worked in: corporate and business promotions, formal and candid interviews, auditions, how-to demos, trade show product demos, investor updates, patient/customer profiles, medical procedures, brand promotion; corporate meeting, conference, and seminar documentation; distance learning, employee training, podcasts; directing and editing multi-camera coverage of meetings, concerts and theater; shooting/editing artist profiles, independent narrative films and documentaries. My recent documentary work has had a focus on the issues of military veterans coping with civilian life after discharge and with advocating for policy changes toward LGBT perceptions of active duty personnel. Jeff is a documentary filmmaker and journalist based in New York City. In recent years, he has collaborated on feature-length documentaries for HBO and PBS Frontline, and contributed reporting to the New York Times. Jeff learned to shoot and produce working alongside renowned documentarians Jon Alpert and Matthew O’Neill at DCTV, New York’s most honored community media center. In 2008, through a KWD Project for Peace Grant, Jeff received funds to equip a media lab on the Isthmus of Tehuantepec in Southern Mexico with video and audio equipment and train a small indigenous youth group to make short films. The youth group and their work is featured at the end of his award-winning undergraduate thesis film, which received the Betty and Harry S. Shapiro Endowed Award in Anthropology at Brandeis University and is distributed internationally by DER. Jeff’s work continues to be informed by a strong background in community media and non-fiction story-telling. He lives in Hamilton Heights with his wife, Laís and his son, Martin.

Matteo was born in Trento, Italy and grew up in Conegliano, a little town outside Venice. From a very young age, he has been fascinated by the world of movies and journalism. He started pursuing his passion for print journalism by writing film reviews for several websites in Italy. Graduating with a degree in Communication Sciences from the University of “Roma Tre”, his final thesis focused on the history of American sitcoms and their relationship with the ancient Greek theater. In 2011, he moved to New York City to work at the subsidiary of the RAI (Italian National Television) and soon after decided it was time to pursue a film career. Matteo was accepted into an intensive documentary film program at the New York Film Academy, from where he graduated in 2012. Hi there! My name is Rialda Zukic and I was born in Srebrenica in Bosnia-Herzegovina. I spent most of my childhood in Germany and the United States (Kentucky to be exact). As a child, I was very curious and always knew I wanted to tell stories. Looking back at old family videos, I'm always the one holding the camera and asking my family members questions. Many years have passed since then, but not much has changed in that regard. I'm still holding a camera and now asking strangers questions. I'm currently finishing up graduate school at NYU studying broadcast news and documentary film. I'm in the process of making my first documentary. I'm focusing on the post-war ethnic conflict in Srebrenica. The town was the site to one of Europe's worst war atrocities since World War II. My film examines what life is like for Srebrenica's youth, Bosniaks and Serbs, almost 20 years since the war. The stories that I'm interested in covering explore conflict, its roots and possible solutions following tragedy + war. I like telling stories that put me outside my comfort zone and challenge authority when necessary. I also like telling dynamic arts stories and exploring underground music scenes.
