Patrick Offenheiser is a filmmaker, editor and multimedia artist. Originally from Boston by way of Dhaka, Bangladesh and Lima, Peru, he graduated with a BA in Film & Electronic Arts and History from Bard College and went on to produce documentary work for non-profit organizations and television, focusing on marginalized and displaced communities, particularly in Latin America and the United States. While a Fellow at UnionDocs he worked as DP/Co-Director on Moved Every Way, a documentary featuring a volunteer-run LGBTQ church held together by the devotion of its members, exploring how individuals struggle to uphold church as a sanctuary from the harsh realities of the outside world and also as Editor on "Alphabet on Air a documentary featuring a performance art installation that takes place at a closet-sized gallery in Alphabet City, New York, that represents local, homeless and street artists. Ashley Gutierrez is a filmmaker and photographer. She uses visual storytelling to generate awareness around complex international issues and is driven by a deep pursuit to use media to explore the commonalities that connect people across cultures. Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, her love of story has taken her around the world. She has a degree in Broadcast Journalism and a resume checkered with everything from creating on-air promotional pieces at VH1 to developing news packages for local media outfits to filming grassroots documentaries throughout east and central Africa. On staff for over six years with the media-based non-profit organization Invisible Children, she created documentaries and short films, started an art department in Gulu, Uganda, and acted as the lead editor and videographer. Ashley is the Founder and Creative Director of Cliff Co., an Impact Storytelling Agency. She devotes her time to creating feature documentaries and short films for brands and causes. She specializes in connecting stories and issues to the people and motivations behind them, and is dedicated to portraying them in a thoughtful and honest way. Currently he is working on his first feature film “BORDER SOUTH/FRONTERA SUR,” a gripping story that documents the lives of Central and South American migrants as they cross through Mexico and has received support from the Jerome Foundation and the Undocumented Migration Project.

Claire M. Andreae is a documentary director, producer, and editor. She was born in Mainz, Germany, where she attended German schools and after receiving the Abitur moved to Los Angeles to study Film and Television Production at Loyola Marymount University. She grew up bilingually, speaking English and German, and has traveled extensively throughout her life. During her time at LMU, she directed three short documentaries that played successfully in film festivals and won awards for best student film, best editing, and best documentary. She has recently completed her short documentary, "Living With Fire," which focuses on the effects that climate change is having on wildfires in California. Amy Bench is a cinematographer and filmmaker based in Austin, Texas. She took a circuitous path to filmmaking, first working as an engineer for Eastman Kodak before pursuing an MFA in directing at UT (2010). She has been twice nominated for the Kodak Excellence in Cinematography Award and has won grants from the International Documentary Association (IDA), Austin Film Society (Texas Filmmaker’s Production Fund), Women in Film- Dallas, and the Department of Education’s Jacob K. Davits Fellowship, and is currently a member of the Austin Contemporary’s multidisciplinary artist group The Crit Group. She was recently named a “DP on the Rise” by Paste Magazine. As a cinematographer her credits include TRANS IN AMERICA (Emmy, 2019), UPROOTED (HBO Max, NAACP Image Award nomination, 2022), BAD AT DANCING (Silver Bear, Berlinale, 2015), HOLY HELL (Sundance, 2016) and RUNNING WITH BETO (SXSW, 2019). An anthropologist and filmmaker, his first feature, “Adelante,” a feature length documentary about Mexican immigration to a historically Irish Catholic church outside of Philadelphia, screened on over 20 PBS affiliates, played at over 30 festivals, and was screened at over 40 colleges.
