Meredith Mandell is a New York-based multimedia reporter having worked on a variety of investigative and enterprising stories in the United States and across the globe. She is a skilled newspaper reporter and has also written, produced and reported for broadcast media. In 2011-2012, Meredith was based in Jerusalem, Israel as a freelance correspondent for the New York Times, USA Today, the International Business Times, Jewish Telegraphic Agency, MSNBC.com, the Txnologist.com, ABC Radio and DW Radio. Other international experience includes a stint as a reporter for The Guadalajara (Mexico) Reporter and freelance work in Haiti, where she covered the aftermath of the earthquake for AOL News. Meredith also spent four years as a general assignment reporter for The Record and Herald News in Northern New Jersey where she covered general assignment news and wrote about crime, politics, education and immigration. Meredith won a number of press association awards for her work, including First Prize from the New Jersey Press Association for Investigative Reporting in a multimedia series. She also has won prizes for stories about corruption in public services and immigration.
