Deborah Wong is a video journalist in New York City. She is currently a freelance video editor for the News Literacy Project, a nonpartisan national education nonprofit that aims to teach middle school and high school students how to sort fact from fiction in the digital age. Before that, she interned at MSNBC as the video intern, creating clips on the 2016 election for NBC/MSNBC's online platforms. She also recently graduated from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, specializing in documentary filmmaking. She completed a documentary about the homeless female veterans for her Master's project. She also co-produced, shot and edited a short film about the Mormon "dating crisis" in New York City.
