Tiffany Cooper was born and raised in the sunny land of Miami, Florida. Since her youth Tiffany was interested in finding her voice in the arts. Both her Mother and Grandmother were very strong, encouraging, and positive guardians who influenced Tiffany to be so as well. Tiffany continued her education at the Rhode Island School of Design, with the hopes of growing/developing as an individual and as an artist. After RISD, she gained more knowledge of animation, video, and illustration. Now she lives in Brooklyn, New York and is focusing on Music Videos, Animation, Illustration, and Photography. Stephen polished his craft in film and television at Boston University, graduating with honors. In 2010, he worked under Richard Gladstein, the producer of such greats: Reservoir Dogs, Pulp fiction, Jackie Brown, Finding Neverland. He has also worked as the personal intern to Director Louis Leterrier, whom directed The Incredible Hulk, Clash of the Titans andNow You See Me. After graduating, he ran a small production company with his brother Nate. Stephen produced, directed, shot, and edited corporate videos and ads for local companies. While there, he also helped on three feature projects. He acted in a fiction feature The Longest Swim as well as Directed and DP'd second unit for the film. He also produced in post. The other two feature projects were Billy's Cap: A Southworth Story and Shinobi Ninja Doc. Both films were documentaries and Stephen shot a majority of both along with producing. Stephen has since moved to Los Angeles to continue his work in Film and TV.

My passion in life is visual storytelling and I strive to craft a life that is a story worth telling. Growing up in rural Alaska I developed a love for adventure and exploration into the wilds around me. The often overwhelming beauty and intensity I encountered led me to photography as a means of sharing my experience. I enjoy finding creative angles that reveal my subjects' connection with the natural environment in an authentic and artistic style. As a licensed USCG captain for Ocean Swell Ventures and proprietor of Surf Alaska, boat based surf adventures are one of my primary production platforms. As of late he has supervised the post workflow of Louie CK’s second season on FX and edited an MTV True Life Update. He has been known for creating successful sizzle reels for new show pitches such as Food Network’s Thieves Inc. and History Channel’s Dark Horse Nation. Yuanchen Liu is from Wuhan, China. He worked as a journalist and photographer in China before moving to the United States in 2009 to pursue his Masters degree in News & Documentary at New York University. His graduation thesis and debut feature documentary, To the Light, a film about coal miners in Sichuan, China has won the Best Filmmaker Award at the 35th Margaret Mead Film Festival in 2011, held at the American Museum of Natural History. Yuanchen has since worked for Sinovision, Inc. a Chinese language TV network based in the New York City; formed and led the feature department there and developed documentary series with focus on the Chinese immigrants community. He left Sinovision in Oct. 2013 in seeking independent creativity and is now a producer at Shearwater Films, a documentary production company he co-founded in New York in 2011, which had produced feature documentaries and mini docs for international media clients including the NY Times and Setanta Sports Ireland. Yuanchen's experience covering stories in underdeveloped communities gave him the belief that documentaries can be a powerful tool to bring attention to pressing social issues.

HI, my name is Emily Harrold. I am a documentary filmmaker based in New York. I was born and raised in Orangeburg, South Carolina. My films have screened at such festivals as The Tribeca Film Festival, The Telluride Film Festival, and The Melbourne International Film Festival. Recently, my short documentary film "Reporting on The Times: The New York Times and The Holocaust" received a Student Directors Guild of America Award and was a Documentary Finalist in the 2012 Student Academy Awards. Hello: I am a producer based here in New Jersey and New York City. I'm interested very much in human stories with a visual spine, stories that are more evergreen than of-the-moment news type of pieces. For example? One video I produced covered a New York City cab-driver, originally from Nepal, who is taking whatever extra earnings he has and sending it to build new schools for children in Nepal. I was able to showcase him in his taxi cab, as well as showing the photos he took of the children at the school. I like stories about people passionate about what they are doing, even to the point of obsession. People who go all the way in their lives. Sometimes this can have a news value, and other times, not. I am currently a senior producer at a non-profit TV station, and am also a segment producer. I earned a graduate degree from the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism. I'm senior at Northwestern University, currently studying multimedia journalism. My roommates call me a 'dreamer' sometimes, and I'm not sure if its a compliment (they're all economics majors and much more practical than me), but I do think its an apt description. I get a sort of high from striking on a new and sort of wild ideas, and I'm quick to try and get others as hyped as I am. That's why I so enjoy film, it not only gives me an 'excuse' to pursue some cool ideas for the sake of art, but gives me a medium to channel that energy. I chose journalism as a major because its very essence is about learning and digging up novel and sometimes strange and weird things. I'm wide eye'd when it comes to even the immediate world around me, and after checking out your work and style, it definitely appears like you guys share some of those same sentiments. ShakaJamal is a culturally innovative artist and filmmaker from Oakland, California. His experiences as film producer, director, cinematographer, editor, writer, performing artist, and music producer bring a distinctive and invaluable perspective to any venture. ShakaJamal searches for stories that reveal the unseen scars of everyday people and strives to reveal how that pain is transformed into a motivating force in their lives. He searches for stories of unification rather than division, yet still allows room for the bitterness of hardship to resonate as a beautiful truth. ShakaJamal is a graduate of Tuskegee University where he earned a BA in History. He received a Masters of Fine Arts in Cinema at San Francisco State University. ShakaJamal is the first filmmaker from Oakland, CA to receive the Game Changers Fellowship which lead me to premiere a series of short documentaries in New York at Harlem’s Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture. His work has premiered both nationally and internationally, on television, and in numerous film festivals.

I'm a Chicagoan with a degree in journalism from the University of Illinois. I moved to Brooklyn in January 2013 to work as an assistant to former CNN/MSNBC President, Rick Kaplan. Last February I helped Mr. Kaplan launch a music news show on Fuse TV. Now I would like to pursue a more active role in journalism. I dedicated my college years to learning the many sides of video production, so I can become an effective storyteller. I learned the most outside the classroom by taking on independent projects. I discovered my passion for long-form video storytelling by producing three half-hour documentaries, one of which was produced in Turkey. I hosted, associate produced, and reported in this documentary called, "Illinois Travels to Turkey." The documentary aired on Chicago's PBS station, and it also won a Silver Pillar at the 2013 Mid-America Emmys. I can edit, write, shoot, interview, and produce, and I'm eager to improve my storytelling one story at a time.

As a director, producer, cinematographer and editor, Kevin Shaw has created award-winning films for prestige platforms. Shaw’s latest film, Let the Little Light Shine, was nominated for an Emmy Award and a Peabody Award, debuted on PBS’ award-winning series POV, and played at several film festivals and theaters around the country to stellar reception, where the Chicago Tribune lauded the film for carrying “the visceral impact of all six Rocky films and a few Creed films put together.” The film is available to stream on Apple/iTunes, Amazon Prime Video, Google Play and VUDU. Shaw’s debut documentary about Basketball Hall of Fame coach Bob Hurley, The Street Stops Here, aired nationally on PBS and ESPN in 2010 to rave reviews. The following year, Shaw’s Big Ten Network short documentary on a quadriplegic trying to regain the ability to walk won the Edward R. Murrow Award for Sports Reporting Excellence.
